50"sony wega heard pop noise, then picture went out. green light blinks then red light blinks. hear a short buzzing noise 2 or 3 times, picture doesnt come back on .

Dont plug it on your tv the FLYBACK of your tv was defective. Need to replace your flyback or else more parts inside was damage. Bring your tv to a Electronic tech.

It sounds lamp in tv got broken as you heard pop sound of it, replace lamp in tv to fix the issue.
Blinking light would be Lamp light at tv front that shows lamp is dead.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and mentioned in tv user manual.

Please check lamp in tv as pop sound seems broken lamp.
Did you replaced lamp in last 2-3 years in tv? If not, then its lamp that got broken and tv needs new lamp.
Lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual and its easy, please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

No Picture, Power light Blinking 3 times then repeats

3 times blink shows lamp cover is removed or not installed properly on TV.
Please take out lamp inside TV and check, seems its broken as you heard loud pop.

The pop you heard might have been color weel braking and it might be stuck color weel dont move tv wont come on color weel is inside of engine you would have to replace whole engine 900-up

Symptom shows that TV needs Lamp replacement.
Sony TV Lamp is available in Part Store and lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual of TV.

The accurate number of blinks is very importent as 4 blinks is a different failure code from 5 blinks. Please provide the exact amount of blinks and I can give you a better idea.

Sony LCD television will not power on.

I get 5 blinking red lights for about a minute or so before it powers back down. The Sony TV has a specific light that i presume is supposed to light up when the bulb is out. I'm unsure if this is what it is.
no picture, no sound. tries to boot with green light blinking a few times. then goes to red blinking light, six in all, then waits a few moments, then another 6 blinking red light.
Bulb was already replaced several months ago but we do have the TV on for long periods of time.

2000 27" Sony Wega

Sony has a code for those blinks indicating the problem area. Count the blonks till the pause then google Sony blink codes for the area to fix.
