HEllo, i actually would need a DEC number in order to transfer a phone line..where can i get one?

Error 14 is actually the transfer roller, error 16 is the transfer belt.

Error 14 is a transfer roller error and roller needs to be replaced. The part number is 059E05450 and can be ordered below:

If the featured is enabled at the phone company, grab the main line, enter call forward code (maybe *72), get stutter tone, dial your cell number, hang up. In the morning cancel forwarding, access main line, dial cancel code ( maybe *73), hang up.

*#06# may or may not work. The feature was not added to all Motorola phones until after the w385 was in production. You can also find a website that will convert the MEID into a DEC number. The ESN is not a DEC if it has letters. DEC is only numbers and should start with 26. MEID and ESN or HEX have a mix of letters and numbers. There are converter websites if you find the MEID to convert into DEC. Motorola has one too. I'll find it.

May be IMEI not MEID the code *#06# is to view IMEI for general.
NB: IMEI means
I = International
M = Mobile
E = Equipment
I = Identification

Go to settings on your phone, click on the phone option, it will display different option, select call forwarding or call divert, enter the number you forwarding the call to and press ok, you are done. follow the same procedure, when you get to call forwarding, you can select to cancel as you can no longer add a number.

Sounds like your transfer and pick up button are actually direct inward dial (DID) lines. To see whats programmed under those buttons, press feature *0 then press your transfer button. It will probably give you a line number and port assignment for the line.

If you purchased your phone, you can contact your service provider or the company to request a code. They will generally ask for your IMEI/DEC number on the phone which is located on the back panel of your phone below the battery. You have to remove the battery and you should see the model number, followed by a line for the IMEI (serial number) /DEC. and they should give it to you .

then the order you want the lines to get picked up (if you want to grab line 4 then 3 then 2 then 1, upon going offhook, press "** line 4 line 3 line 2 line 1)

When finished, press feature 00 to get out of programming.

Hello,
I can send faxes from my HP Fax 1010, but cannot receive them. I can dial the number from another phone but it will keep ringing and the machine never picks up. We have tested the phone line and all seems well. Is there some setting on the fax machine itself that I need to change in order to receive? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
