INSIDE LIGHTS FLASH..NOT COOLING..NOT SHOWING TEMP

So it's not cooling good or is it just the fresh food icemaker not working? Do u see frost inside the ice compartment on bottom of icemaker if u take the ice bin out? Also if fresh food section is not cooling good, are u seeing any water up under the bottom drawer in fresh food section?

does that on mine as well
the temp is what is on the inside wall unit when turned on the remote reads 25 and the inside unit reads 30 but eventually comes down to 25

This is two problems, the body is hot because it is cooling the inside by pumping the heat to the body.

The light could be a loose or bad bulb. Here are some links, but as to what type of refrigrator you have I have no idea.

Is the fan inside the freezer is blowing air. But not cold air and it is regular air. If so then your compressor is not running or there is a cooling gas leak or line block.

is your condenser running? check inside the machine to see if the contactor is pulled in. 240 volts is deadly, use caution.

assuming its been fixed by now.
thermal-couples on mags trigger at 160F i believe.. forces shutdown for safety.
possible causes..several
mag fan working?
EC fan working?
mag cooling fins packed with dust?
wave guides full of crud causing arching?
mag tip burnt?
faulty mag thermal-couple, unlikely

Hi!
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
It does a lot of clicking (trying to start over and over again)
If thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
I use part no ERP410 POWER START RELAY, CAPACITOR AND OVERLOAD all in one. (110 v)

You have a Whirlpool refrig and it has a bad control board . This board is located behind the refrig , on the left side at the bottom , inside a plastic housing . This housing is held on by 2 screws at the bottom left . Remove the housing and the control board inside . Replace the board and reinstall the housing . It costs about $ 80.00 . When you go to get the part , take the complete model number with you so you get the correct board . This board controls the light for the refrig AND the lights for the control knobs PLUS other parts which work ok relating to the cooling .

whats happening is that the refrigerator side appears to be frozen up. what hte controller is doing it's showing yopu the actual temperature inside take everything out og ]=f the refrigerator and thaw i out. then don't pack the frig so that the air can circuate around the food real good.
