May I know the exact error messages in the printer screen. If it's green and yellow lights that are flashing you need to push more the two cartridges that you replace....also try to clean it using the printer program installed in your computer....good luck and hope it will help....

Hi there, Can I print in Black & White when I ran out one of colour ink catridges??? On Brother website it says that you can. According to their advice the Error message shoud come up on LCD screen...

as long as the color print cartridges remain in the printer you should be able to print in only black and white.
If the error message does not come up you should be able to tell the printer to print in black and white in your page setup or print properties portion when you go to print your page.

(1) go file print or print
(2) a gray box will pop up click on properties
(3) Click color
(4)click gray scale

This should do it for you!
(5) select black print cartridge only

Unable to clean print heads

Unplug the printer from power cord.Press and hold the "menu" button, then plug the device.You'll see on the LCD screen a "machine error" code.If this code is 40,41,49 or 4F the print head is defective.If the error is 48 - defective print head cable or circuit board.If the error is 50 or 51 there is error in Purge unit and printer require service.If the error is 46 the waste ink tank is full.Follow this:
Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3.This will reset the purge count value. Then restart the printer, hopefully without the annoying cannot clean message.

Canon mpc190s imageclass printer error wrong cartridge

Try to remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head, clean the contacts on carriage with piece of cotton and little alcohol then put all back again.If this not help replace the print head.It's part number is QY6-0037-000.

Error 1 message

Check the batteries and that there is nothing clogging up the tape area. Any little bit of tape can cause the error message to come up. Also if you put in say 4 new batteries and kept 2 older ones that show a little life still left, can cause the error message. Change all the batteries at the same time.

Print head problem

Do a reset:

Dell Printer reset

1. With the power on,unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
Plug the power cord back into the wall socket.


Dell Printers

To run a nozzle clean, perform the following steps:
1. Verify the All-In-One Printer 922 is powered on and connected to a computer.
2. Verify that the paper support (input tray) has clean, plain white paper loaded.
3. Press the Menu button.
4. Press the Down button until Mode: Maintenance appears on the LCD screen.
5. Press the Menu button.
The Dell 922 Maintenance Menu appears on the LCD screen.

6. Press the Down button until Clean Cartridges appears on the LCD screen.
7. Press the Start button.
The AIO 922 prints the cleaning page. This process cleans the ink cartridges and resolves many print quality issues.

Brother DCP 110C has an error on the LCD screen it says unable to print...

try reloading the software and check that the usb lead is connected inside the printer and to your computer.

When printer is set up to print, it makes a brief knocking sound and on little screen at top it says...unlock scanner

If the printer LCD screen continues to display the same error message, do the following:
Remove both cartridges from the printer.
Move the red lock switch (at the back of the printer) from the down position to the up position, and then move it back to the down position.
Unplug the printer and turn it onto its left side.
Then return the printer to the upright position and reapply the power supply.
Attempt this fix twice and then try to print and scan once more.
note : Installing the wrong upgrade file will not cause damage to the printer, but the LCD display will display some characters incorrectly. Downloading and installing the correct firmware will resolve this issue

The cards are sticking

Hi There,

Im_useless:
0.126 is not a Magicard error number. On a Rio 2 printer, the error number will be displayed on the LCD display. It should look like 02:?? or 04:??, etc.

Are the cards feeding out of the hopper?
How far into the printer have they gone before you get the error?
Are any of the dye film panels printed before the card gets stuck?
Are the cards ejected when you click on 'OK'?

Guest:
The most common reason for the dye film sticking to the cards are if they already have overcoat printed on them (you can not print over overcoat). Also, if you are printing very dense images, try selecting 'ColorSure' mode in the printing preferences, Try reducing the YMC printhead power in printing preferences.
