Bought a used Panasonic's PV-DF2704 trying to set the TV up for through my cable, just can't figure it out

Check and replace the remote sensor inside it. It might be faulty.

5 digit code for the comcast red button silver remote is 21462 this pertains to Panasonic MODEL# PV-DF2704

Each remote has its own set of codes and supports only a very limited number of tv models. If your tv isn't listed then your only option is to try all the other codes listed for the manufacturer (Panasonic in your case) in the hope one of them will work. If none of them work that the remote isn't supporting it, simple as that.

You could also just replace the entire DVD unit, as that;s some times easier and less expensive.

You probably will not have access to all features from the front panel but you can get an original replacement remote here:

best bet for now is to unplug the tv from the a/c and let it sit for at lease a full day...no kidding... then replug and play the tv again.

The secret is that the VCR code turns the set on/off and the TV code controlls the volume...try this:

Program the Verizon remote AUX button using the panasonic VCR codes until it turns the set on/off, program the remote for TV using the panasonic TV codes until it controls volume, then program the STB button to control all 3... STB, TV, and AUX. If you are missing any VCR or TV funtions try another respective panasonic code until all functions are available.

Panasonic VCR codes are 1089, 0062, 0189, 0252, 0643, 1062.
Panasonic TV codes are 0277, 0078, 0677, 1437.

To figure this out, I had to use the "what if none of the codes worked" section and figured I'd try the VCR codes since the TV codes would not turn it on/off.

my panasonic tv model no. PV-DF2704, program light is blinking and I don't know how to cut it off. It is causing my tv to cut off. My remote control will not work. I bought it second hand. I program a universal remote and it works for a little while, but I can not set my tv for cable. Please help me if you can.
