You must search for available wi-fi connections in the area and try to connect, some requires a wep key for security reasons but mostly if you are on a hotel or a restaurant they provide a free wi-fi connections and doesnt require a key to connect, hope it helps.

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

When i try to turn my Wii on it will not come on there are no lights or anything how do i fix this problem

This happens if you have had a power outage. Here's what you should do:

  1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).
  2. The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.
  3. Unplug anything connected to the USB ports (such as LAN Adapters, keyboards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, etc.).
  4. After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.
Hope that works for you.

Even with the password, i cant connext to internet, but I CAN connect to the router (which isnt linksys). only when router isnt password protected can I connect to internet as well

You may have to settle for WEP passcode or none at all. The older technology may not understand any type of encryption. An alternative means of protection for you may be something called mac filtering. You will have to do the research. Good luck.

I just bought a Belkin wireless router for my internet to connect with my microsoft xbox 360 wireless adapter. the light turns on the adapter but it is a amber color and not red or green like always...

I've never heard of a Wireless Adapter turning amber or orange? This can be a simple light problem inside your Xbox 360. If it were fixed, the highest possibility is that color should be red. If so, this means the connection is not strong enough to your modem, and adapter. You will have move your Xbox 360 console closer to your wireless modem for the connection to be the best.

My N64 freezes up after a few minutes of play is there anything I can do or is there someone or somewhere that will fix it

Well maybe the console needs to be cleaned out then dust causes video game consoles to over heat 10 times faster than their normal rates because it acts like a barricade for the system. Or if the voltage is off it can cause stalling or it the ac adapter isnt putting out the right connection for the console it will freeze. Clean out the gamepacks with rubbing alcohal and qutips too.

Console will not turn on. light is neither red or

Since you said the light isnt red or green im assuming its not glowing at all, and in that case you most likely over worked your adapter like i did. All you need to do is unplug the cord thats connected to a gray box from your Wii, and follow the cord out the other side and unplug it from the wall. The gray box is the adapter and if you leave it unplugged for a couple hours then hook it back up to the wii, the light should come back on, although in my case the light is now yellow when its off instead of red.

Internet

Well, I understand that the modem is SS4100, which means ther are
5lights on it being, Power, Ethernet, DSL, Internet & Activity....
Note:The trouble shooting is done according to the Light Status on the modem.
1. No matter what the proble is, the first step is to Power Cycle the modem to eliminate the static on the modem(to switch it off and back on).
2. If the Power Light is anything other than a solid green, then the modem is fried(except the fact that the adapter is plugged and working).
3. If the Power is green and Ethernet is off, then check for the LAN cable at the back
of the computer if its connected to the modem.(It turns green if connected properly)
4. If the DSL light is anything other than solid green, then call up the ISP tech's to ask why the intenet is not working.
(make sure the DSL cable is plugged firmly onto the back of the modem and the wall jack)
5. If the Power, Ethernet and the DSL is green and the internet is not, the open up the Modem page(type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and enter for the modem page), and cross-check for the username and the password. Save the changes and your internet is working!!!
6.  The Activity light usually blinks green and it does't have much to do with the troubleshooting.
The above are the basic troubleshooting steps.
Hope it solves your problem......
