Printer isn't getting my jobs since resetting of my router

I recently had to reset my router due to a power outage and ever since I cannot get anything to print. The print jobs are in the print queue but the printer isn't getting them. It says error on the first print job. I've turned the printer off several times and still nothing. Tried tech support and was disconnected from chat.

If you reset your router, the IP address of your printer must be on default when the router is down, so you need to set the IP address of your printer again, to do this you must go to SETUP, then NETWORK, then IP SETTINGS, then MANUAL.
OR you can also choose NETWORK SETUP WIZARD.

Post here if you have other question. thanks

Why is the cisco light flashing on my Linksys router after a power outage?can't connect to internet

It is due to some internal problem with setting. first, resetting the router and update wireless adapter driver on the device and change your wireless settings.
Downloading the latest firmware for your router if possible.
I think it will give you some ideas.

Power outage unable to connect wirelessly e1000

Make sure power is back up. Check both ISP modem and router indicator lights are normal. Test ISP connection with cable. If all is still OK then use the reset button in the back of the router.

FYI - ISP modem might also have a reset. I had to this for TV even though everything said OK.

Wont reset and has erratic blinking lights. Tried power reset, reset button, etc.

Does the power light blinks when you press the reset button?
If power light is blinking continuously then I think your router is not working and you need a new one.

Had a power outage and now my router doesn't send out wireless. Hit the reset button and unplugged once.

Try hard reseting it by pressing and holding the reset button for at least 20 to 30 seconds just to be sure. And then power on again the router.

Lost connectivity after power outage

If this is a printer WITHOUT WiFi or bluetooth - and you have it connected to another computer (Print Server) via a USB cable - you need to make sure you can see that computer from the other computer you are printing from. Use the network explorer - if you can see the computer and the printer you should be able to print to it.

Sometimes, it may be secured with a password. I found if I can map a shared drive from my laptop to my print server then I can print again. So see if you can see the printer and printer server computer from the other computer. If so you may need to add that printer again to you printer list.

After power outage I Can't connect without bypassing router

If you can connect directly then, the problem is the wrt54g router. Possible problems:
1) Power Outage damaged the router
2) Power Outage reseted the router

For the second scenario, you should got to the browser and type: http://192.168.1.1/ and check whether you can enter or not. If not, you need to configure the gateway IP on your PC to 192.168.1.1

Restart problem

You may have to hard reset it by unplugging the cord itself and plugging it back in. When power comes back during power shortage, there may be a power surge rushing to the modem/router causing it to behave abnormally. Also, you may want to put power surge protection on it as it may damage you modem/router as i did mine.
