I have an Explorer 210 series. It will no longer pair

I have an Explorer 210 series. I paired it with my cell phone with no problem. I was actually supposed to pair it with my sisters but wanted to see if it was compatible. Now, the blue and red flashes of light do not come on (this was suppose to come on to let you know it was ready for pairing). It just goes to straight blue. It is fully charged. It won't pair with her phone (same exact phone as mine purchased at same time) and when I deleted it from my phone to try again, it won't pair with my phone now. I know the phones are compatible since it worked the first time. Any idea? I was wondering if it needed to be reset somehow? Thank you so much

Just this morning I was able to pair this headset with my phone. Before, it was paired to my PS3. The key is to hold down the big round button on the outside until the light flashes red/blue (this is quick-pair mode) then just have your cellphone search for bluetooth devices and you're done!

Testimonial: "I tried that but I bet I didn't do it long enough. Thank you so much (I exchanged it already but will keep in mind). Thank you again!"

Hi Everyone,

I couldn't figure out how to solve this so I took it back to Costco, bought a new one, and just waited until I had my sister's phone to pair it with and viola, it worked just fine. I don't know if you just get 1 shot with the pairing or what, but I did not want to try it again to see so I left it. The blue and red flashing light came on just like it should on the new one and it paired in 3 seconds.

Thank you!!

How to make a call

The first step after charging is to pair the headset to the cell phone, you may also have to turn the Bluetooth or headset function "on" in the menu of the cell phone (depending on the individual phone). Here is a link for the Plantronics 200 series user guide, this will walk you through the pairing and calling process.

Need to pair my nokia5310 to plantronics explorer 210

You don't mention if this is your first time pairing the headset, you will need to turn on your blue tooth on your cell phone, the light on the headset should come on flashing red/blue. If it does not refer to sub pairing instructions below. The cell phone should find the headset. 2XX Plantronics in your list. If the pass key is needed it is (four zeros). Second time pairing or more than one device, turn on bluetooth feature, headset turned on, press and hold the call button for about 5-6 seconds. Release button and set headset aside. On cell phone hit bluetooth menu, search for add device. The cell phone should find the headset.

Is Blue tooth headset Plantronics Explorer 210 compatible with k790i. I got this headset recently, but am unable to pair with my Sony Ericson k790i mobile. Please help?

Your headset must be in paring mode, in order to be paired with your phone. If, after turning it on, the indicator light doesn't alternately flash in red and blue (thus indicating it is in pairing mode), it has, most probably, been paired to another phone before. In this case, turn it off, wait for the indicator light to turn red, and, then, off. Then, turn your headset on again, and hold the call button until the indicator light is flashing alternately in red and blue. Either way, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, your headset should appear on-screen. Make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process has been successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode.
Hope it works for you.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

I can't connect my hbm-210 bluetooth to my

Go into your phone and under your bluetooth settings delete your headset profile. You can now just go through the pairing procedure again and your phone should find the headset and you can click yes pair with this device(headset) and just finnish you pairing. Also make sure you didn't turn your bluetooth power off on your phone by accident.

Headset not going into pairing mode.

Hold down round button on earbud for 5-6 seconds until the lights blink alternating red and blue.....then, enable your phone/device to connect in pairing mode. This will be a "find device" command or something similar. Once they recognize each other....it will send you a screen to enter a code. This will be 0000.....enter that...and once they pair...you are good to go.

New cell phone won't "see" bluetooth earpiece

The headset will automatically pair with the last device that it was paired with. You may want to remove that just in case. I am sending the users guide along with this. Also always start with the blue tooth turned off, the pass key is 0000 (four zeros).
