When i try to use the camera, getting an message stating another application is running, please close the application then try again. No other application is running. Sony Ericsson W580I

Something's eating up your memory! Pay attention to what apps are running - there's no room for your camera app to open.

when i go on my blackberry 8520 camera it says please close any other open applications and try again i turned off the phone than back on again but it says the same message

Hi,

This is what you should do, press and hold the menu key.. you'll get a display in a rectangular form with all programs that are currently running on your blackberry.

You can scroll through the open applications and for you to close all running applications, you'll have to click on your trick ball to get you to that open application and then you close it.

Go over the process of holding the menu key for about 10 seconds again until the rectangular window opens with applications that are currently open.

Click on another program and close it.... do this for all the applications until your have about 4 applications running. Once it's reduced to this you would be able run your camera.

Your camera is already online. Double click the camera icon in the lower right task bar and it will work. That is the problem, the program is trying to run twice. Again, the camera is online and working and the access to it is in the task bar at the bottom. You, of course, can change these setting if you like.

please delete some of your newly installed program from ur device..if not try to check the installed program space...when ur mob have low memory then this will happen

If any problem first check by software.Bcoz more problem salve by software.

what messenging program are you trying to use

a nother application could even mean blutooth just take the battery out for 10 minutes try again if no go let me now ill find the solution

The firmware on the phone need to be reflash to correct this problem you can do this online at topsony.com or take it to a mobile service center close to you to have this done.
