Insert correct sim card

Hi if your sony ericsson WT13i mobile is displaying messages like insert correct sim ,sim invalid and so on once you insert your sim in it then it mean your phone is locked to some other network provider due to this it wont accept any other GSM sim until you unlock it .You can easily unlock your phone using sites like Mobile-Unlocker.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .You first check that whether the code is available for your country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock your phone then freely use it with any GSM sim .

I think that your W880i was unlocked by a patch before updating, and now, it's relocked because of the patch will disappear when you install new firmware.

may be ur sim ic is damage for sort circut. plz go to tacnician

i you should try a software update, you can get this from www.sonyericsson.com/support. hope this helps
