Changing toner I am trying to change the toner in our Cannon ImageRunner 400S. I cant figure out how to get the cartirage out to replace it. The mechine was aquaired with the building and we have not manual or anything on it. Can you help? [email protected]

It's either a speck on the scanner glass for the document feeder, or a smear of toner on one of the rollers. Check the skinny band of glass inside the document feeder for specks and clean it with a lint-free soft cloth and a little rubbing alcohol or a very little bit of water.

it may a problem in your main electric broad, so plug to another electric switch broad

Our Canon ImageRunner 400S says to replace the waste toner container. However, I can't find in the manual how to do that.

Waste toner is located in drum unit, look for any cork on drum unit assy, open it, and empty waste toner.

Trying to find documentation for the Canon Imagerunner 400S. Need to know how to add toner?

Did you look on the box the toner comes in? Also, when the copier needs toner, the display panel will walk you through the steps of how to install a new toner. The hardest part is getting the toner cartridge OFF. You need to press the front of the developing unit right under the blue cover on the front. The Black piece will push in to release the toner cartridge. Good Luck...

down the right hand side small gray or blue handle.
open the toner box.
insert a new toner.

Please check if they have Manual on how to replace the toner?
they have also guide if you want to replace the toner, try to open the front door and they have manual

1-en front door look inside and see if there are black rings around the shiny Drum cylinder, if yes replace drum blade (may have to replace drum also).
2- if lines only come when doing from ADF then lift top and clean the small strip of glass.

Changing Cartirage

It should not come all the way out. Just till it stops, then the new cartridge locks onto the top of the hopper. Once you have pulled out the shutter, the toner falls into the hopper. Pushing tghe shutter closed causes the cartridge to pop up in the front so it can then be removed and thrown away, the cartridge does not stay in the machine.

I specifically found the remove used toner and add new toner section but I believe you may benifit from thr entire manual.
