Check out this link below to download a PDF manual, software, and more for your phone. Just copy and paste into your browser.

http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/product-support/nokia-n76/guides

I'm not sure if this is the case with you. This is from page 60 of your manual. Start at page 59 as this is the start for connections.

When the device is locked, you cannot use Bluetooth
connectivity. See ‘Phone and SIM card’, p. 102 for more
information on locking the device.

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else. It would be very kind of you if this does work for you to please rate me or leave a short note. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

How to open or play Bluetooth ?

Bluetooth is a short range communication technology connecting devices. It "pairs" a primary device such as a phone with a secondary accessory device, such as headphones. Both devices must be "on" for this pairing to occur.

The Bluetooth setting should be turned on in each device and discovery of the devices proceed from the device with a screen.

For example, on a cell phone, you would find the Bluetooth setting and press it. It would attempt to "discover" Bluetooth devices near it, such as headphones that have Bluetooth capability.

If there is more than one Bluetooth device around that is active, you will have to pick your headphones from the list of devices presented on the cell phone screen.

How to "activate" Bluetooth may vary from device to device. Your user manual to your cell phone doubtlessly will mention Bluetooth. It is possible that you might have to enter a PIN number to have access to a particular Bluetooth device. User manuals for the devices should tell you about any PIN requirements.

How to use Bluetooth technology to connect laptop and cell phone?

We can use Bluetooth technology to connect laptop and cell phone. We can move videos, images, photos etc from a desktop computer or a laptop to our cell phones. In order to use Bluetooth technology to connect laptop and cell phone we need a laptop and a cell phone which support this technology.
If the laptop doesn't support it, we can use a USB Bluetooth dongle. Just plug it into the USB port of the desktop computer or laptop. Leave the rest to Microsoft Windows. It will find the driver and install it itself. If it is not supported, we can manually install it via the manufacturer's compact disk. Follow these simple steps in order to use Bluetooth technology to connect laptop and cell phone: (In this example, we are using Windows Vista.)
Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your cell phone.
Make this setting: my Phone's visibility -> Shown to all on the cell phone.
Open Bluetooth Devices by clicking on its icon in the Control Panel.
control-panel7.jpg OR
google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);
Look for the Bluetooth driver in the Device Manager and double-click on its icon.

bluetooth-devices.jpg Check the box for "My devices is set up and ready to be found" in the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard dialog box.
Click on the Next button.

Click on the device name that you would like to add and click on Next.
bluetooth-devices-wizard.jpg Select "Let me choose my own key" or "Choose a passkey for me" and click on Next.
select-bluetooth.jpg It will now display the passkey. Key this into the cell phone. Now the laptop is initiating to install the Bluetooth device. (Click Yes as you see the prompt message on the cell phone to allow connection with the laptop.)
exchanging-passkeys.jpg Click on the Finish button to close the dialog box of Add Bluetooth Device Wizard.
bluetooth-added.jpg The Bluetooth device (the cell phone) is now displayed in Bluetooth Devices dialog box. Select the Bluetooth device and click on the Properties button.
bluetooth-modems.jpg The Properties dialog box for the device will become visible. Choose the Services tab.
Check the boxes for the services you want.
services.jpg In the end you can launch the items of the cell phone. Transfer photos, videos etc to cell phone via Bluetooth technology.

The bluetooth wont work on anythink

hello there, what is the make and model of your cellular device. Bluetooth permissions change from device to device, often enough only phone calls are allowed to be transmitted to other Bluetooth devices regardless of what type of device it is, if that's the only outgoing Bluetooth service your cell phone allows, this may or may not be the case we cannot even get into particulars because I do not know what type of device that you have also would like to know what did you do to try to connect, did you toggle the Bluetooth setting on, are you sure that the devices that you're attempting to connect to work, are you actually trying to use a service that the device offers? Is the phone new? Have you ever been able to use bluetooth?

I cant talk to anyone and how do you talk to them

Check to make sure that the bluetooth headset is compatible of connecting to the mobile device. If it is, then you will need to pair the devices using the Mobile Device. Make sure the Bluetooth Headset is switched on when the Mobile Device is trying to search for the Bluetooth Headset. It should work but if it doesn't, check the Manufacture's Website for any support.

My bluetooth doesnt work on my CU720 either. Can anyone help?

Bluetooth on the LG Shine is almost impossible to recieve connections from. First try listing the steps you tried to take to get your bluetooth working, then ill look back on FixYa and I'll try to help you depending on what level of tech spec problems you are in. Reply

  1. First go to your setting module
  2. Choose bluetooth in the menu
  3. Turn bluetooth on
  4. Choose a device (exp. headset, laptop, desktop, cell phone with bluetooth etc.)
  5. Switch device on
  6. Search for compatable devices on both things you are trying to connect
  7. If headset, only search on phone
  8. The model number or set name for the device should appear
  9. Choose name or model ( If first time using device apply 0000 or 00000 for access code)
  10. Test device connectivity and enjoy if works
  11. If this does'nt work, consult an LG technical assitance line
