NEEDLE WON'T PICK UP BOBBIN THREAD

Make sure the need is in correctly. if it is backwards or turned to one side too much it wont pick up the bobbin thread. If the needle is in right and it still wont pick up the thread then the machine is out of time.

Take it to a local sewing machine repair and sales business for repair.

did you get the needle in correctly--all the way up into the needle holder
& the flat side of the needle goes to the back of the machine

also after you check the needle & it's in correctly it's very possible that the machine is out of time & a sewing machine repair technican would have to retime the machine

Make sure the divot in the needle is facing the bobbin case.
Thread can be wound up in the rear of the bobbin case causing a delayed advance... This is often not visible when bobbin is removed.

It could just be that your needle is blunt and you need to put a new one in. It is amazing how many different problems a blunt needle can cause. Hope its sorted now.
