Maybe your Packet data conn. was set to "When available"
Go to Tools->Packet Data and select the Packet data conn. and change it to "When needed"

Your cellular provider can answer all of these questions.
Call them from another phone so they can show you the features and answer questions about your cell phone without being cut off.

NEED TO CONFIGURE THE INTERNET SETTING,

To get your Glo 3G internet settings, you will send SMS activate to 444 using a 3G mobile phone. Save the internet settings in your mobile phone. To get Glo WAP settings, SMS your phone name and model to 927. e.g, to activate Nokia 2630, SMS Nokia 2630 to 927. Save the internet settings in your mobile phone.

Glo manual 3G/3.5G internet settings

Service name: Glo 3G
IP Address: 10.100.98.22
Port: 3130
Username: wap
Password: wap
Access point name (APN): glo3gvideo
Authentication: Normal

Hi i was reading regarding WAP settings for BPL mobile...I have copied and pasted what i saw from different forums...see if it is of any help

you can manually conigure GPRS in your mobile phones.

For those who are interested in using GPRS facility provided by BPL Mobile (Mumbai only) here are the brief n settings required for it. You can also use this for surfing Internet through you PC provided your PC is connected to your mobile using Data Cable or preferably BlueTooth.

Go to the main menu and open “Settings”
Select “Configuration” and then “Personal Configuration Settings”. Create a new configuration settings by selecting “Add New” from “Options”




The account fields should be filled as below:
Account Settings Account Name : bplweb
HomePage : http://wap.mizone.bplmobile.com
User Name : Your mobile number
Password : bplmmsc
Use Preferred access point : No
Access point settings : As given below
Access point settings Proxy : Enabled
Proxy Address : 10.0.0.10
Proxy port : 9401
Data bearer : Packet data
Bearer settings : As given below
Bearer settings Packet data access point : mizone
network type : IPv4
Authentication type : Normal
User Name : Your mobile number
Password : bplmmsc
Now once you have done that get back to “Personal Configuration Settings” select the new account “Bplweb” that you have just created and go to “Options” and click on “Activate”
Go back to the main menu and open “Settings”
Select “Connectivity” and then “Packet Data”
Set the “Packet data connection” to “When needed” and then click on “Packet Data Settings” then “Edit active access point” and then set “Packet Data Access Point” to bplgprs.com
These instructions are according to the Nokia sets 3110c, 6085 and should not differ much for other sets and brands and in case of which you can always go to the customer care as did.

Internet connection

I suggest that you should contact your Network Service Provider. Usually, WAP application is already featured from your mobile phone but you should activate it the GPRS to access the internet. Please check with your Network Service to send you this setting manually or over-the-air!

This application WAP browser provides all of the basic services of a computer based web browser but simplified to operate within the restrictions of a mobile phone, such as its smaller view screen. WAP sites are websites written in, or dynamically converted to, WML (Wireless Markup Language) and accessed via the WAP browser.

How to activate vodafone live india in HTC touch P3452?

vodafone live setting for windows based mobiles version 6::::

select "start" ---->>> select "settings" ------->> select "connection"----->>> select "connections"

Now Select "Add a new modem connection"

Connection name::"Give any name"
Moden:: select "Cellular line (gprs)"
Select "Next"
Access point name:: "portalnmms"
select "Next"
Username:: (blank)
Password:: (blank)
Domain:: (blank)
Select "Finish"

Now Select "Setup/Edit my proxy server" below that "Add a new modem connection"

Select the two check boxes
1.) This network connects to the internet
2.) This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet

Now you ll have proxy server box below that you will have "advanced"
Select "advanced"
Select "HTTP" --->> Server:: "10.10.1.100" port:: "9401" select "ok"
Select "Wap" ---->> Server:: "10.10.1.100" port:: "9201" select "ok"
Give ok to all options.

Now select "start" select "internet explorer" and try it for the connection...
When internet is connecting it ll show "Connecting to GPRS"
You ll be getting "locating" and "opening" and the webpage
