Hello all,
When we put in a CD (either a CD-R or even an original CD), it plays one song, then stops. We have to try and catch it and hit next to get it to continue to play.
I'm positive I'm over looking something. Surely, I should be able to insert a CD and have it play the entire CD.
I bought this new, and it does play every track, just not continuously.Cleaned the lens, still no luck.

First clean the laser head with a Qtip and alcohol. It gotta be
perfectly clean, so wipe with fresh brand name qtip and make sure there
is not a single dust particle on it. You gotta remove the cabinet with
star screwdriver. Your beam might be tired. First try with the clean up! Unplugg before opening!
hello hi ... umm first of all the cd player of that car has issues and its not only you who has faced it.

There are two types of music cds. One is still a data disk meaning will be able to add more songs and the songs keep their file names. The other type is compatible for most cd players but once it is made, songs can not be added afterward.
Open up the cd on your computer and look at the songs. If the songs have their original file names then you have used the wrong format. If the songs are lists in tracks (Track 1, Track 2, etc.), then it is the correct format and the problem is the disk or the cd player(s) you tried it on won't accept it.
try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.
I'll try it, but it has never worked.
Cleaned the lens, still no luck.
