Samsung Ice Maker--Ice block and now no water flow...

Our Samsung french door RF267AA had a "logjam" of ice between the ice maker and the wall of the ice maker compartment. I have taken out the ice tray, emptied it, removed all ice that was jammed between the wall and the ice maker, i pushed the reset button and I have waited to hear water loading into the ice maker but at this time (5 min later) I have not yet heard any flow. Any ideas?

The ice maker line freezes. I have thawed it, gotten water flow and one set of cubes but the line freezes again before in the time it takes to freeze the first set of cubes. What should I check next?

Check the water pressure or any filters in the water line or a crimp in the supply tube. Also make sure you totally defrost where the water enters the ice maker.

Ice maker off

Here is a link to the pdf manual: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfimages/43/434e5fcc-031a-4e6f-87e6-b0b910ce27c9.pdf

If you press the "Ice Maker Off" button, then it should turn back on. If the button seems to not be working, then the buttons may be "child locked." To undo the child lock, hold that button down for 3 seconds. Now you should be able to reactivate the ice maker. If you're still having issues, check that it's not blocked and that you're still getting a flow of water. If you're still having issues, try reading the troubleshooting section on page 25 of the pdf manual as it lists the ice maker issue too.

No water no ice

Change the=> 67006531 Water Inlet Valve I believe the side of your 67006531 Water Inlet Valve that controls water flow to the ice maker has weakened and cannot open properly. Replace the water valves and I believe the ice maker will work fine, Sea Breeze

LSC27926ST REFRIG/freezer. Ice maker is leaking water that freezes on items in freezer, ice is messed up and had to unclog ice maker. Still a logjam of ice around ice maker. has been churning out ice...

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn't take much to eventually block the fill tube.

My Samsung RF265ABWP French door refrigerator has suddenly stopped making ice. I hear the old familiar noise it used to make just before I heard the ice drop in the bucket, only no ice drops. It sounds...

Is it getting water? If not, Most likely water valve is faulty and not letting water through, or feed tube through back freezer wall to ice maker is frozen which would be caused by dripping valve. It's either the valve or the ice maker not sending voltage to valve.

Ice maker wont work

If the ice maker has completely stopped producing ice.

Check to see whether the ice maker has been turned off. Here's how to check. Look for a wire along the right side of the ice maker that looks a bit like a coat hanger. If this wire is in the raised position, the ice maker is turned off. On some units you simply lower the wire to the down position to turn the ice maker on. On others, you lower a small red plastic lever to lower the wire. If the wire is in the proper position check the freezer temperature, it should be between 0-8 degrees Fahranheit. If it is warmer than 10-12 degrees, the ice maker may not produce any ice. Check your door seals and thermostat, repair/replace as necessary.

If the ice maker is producing ice poorly.

When an ice maker is producing ice poorly--when it produces just a few cubes or none, or when the cubes are too small--it's usually because of a clogged water line or a defective water inlet valve. First, check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow. To do that, first turn off the water supply valve. Then remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Next, place the water line into a bucket and momentarily turn the water valve back on to test the flow. If the flow is poor, you need to repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water. If the flow is good, you may have to replace the water inlet valve.

LG french doors, bottom freezer. Water leak from

Make sure your ic maker is empty. On the bottom of the ice maker is a small button. Watch the plastic fill tube and hold the botton in. Let the ice maker cycle anmd see if the water over shhoots rne ice maker. If it does, trim 1/8 of an inch off of the tube with a raxor knife on an angle = / this should take care of your problem.

LG ICE MAKER

Be sure that the fill tube is getting into the ice maker and that the ice maker is not blocked with ice.  If everything seems ok, you may have a leaking water valve which causes it to constantly drip water into the ice maker causing the block of ice.
