Hello,
Is the fan working in the oven if not then check if the clock needs resetting. If the fan is working then it is more likely that the ring element around the fan has failed.Check also if the thermostat light comes on,this is an indication it may be ok.
These will give you the basics 1How
to change a fan oven element and How to change a cooker oven fan Motor 2How
to fit a New Thermostat to a Cooker or Oven
If you
have a electric Cooker or Fan
Oven which is not heating it could be one of the following problems. 3. If you have the opposite problem i.e. your oven
is over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your oventhermostat
I have had a similar problem in that the top oven was overheating getting hotter and hotter and have just got a replacement thermostat from Partmaster.co.uk. This is to fit a Tricity Bendix from Currys model number DSIE520 GR. The new one seems just like yours in that it has three lettered connectors A,B and C. With the part came a sheet stating that for a free standing appliance with NO timer (this what my cooker is) the connections to be made are : 2 on old part to A on new; F on old to B on new; G/H on old to C on new and the link from G/H and 6 on old to be removed or "severed". I haven't yet done this as its in my cottage which I'm going to this weekend. Good luck! James
HI THERE SKI IS THE GLASS DOOR PANEL THE INSIDE DOOR GLASS OR THE OUTER DOOR GLASS PANEL AND IS IT THE MAIN OR TOP OVEN.
THE GLASS PANELS INTERNALLY ARE HEAT BONDED IN THE FACTORY AND CANNOT BE REPAIRED YOU WILL NEED A NEW DOOR GLASS.
IF INTERNAL ONE COME AWAY THEN U WILL HAVE TO HAVE A COMPLETE INNER PANEL.
