I have a 1 and 1/2 year old powershot SD950IS digital elph - worked fine one day and would turn on the next day . . . two different charged batteries, still not powering on. Is it fixable?

That can be from a few causes such as the fuses blowing. It is worth fixing if you have warranty but may cost as much or more than a replacement camera if you are no longer covered..

My Canon SD950is camera asks me to submit time/date info every time I turn on the camera. The manual says this means the internal battery is depleted and needs to be recharged. I have a fully charged...

Yes I get something similar with my Panasonic camera just because I take the battery out when the camera is waiting for the next outing, but it is ok as soon as I set the clock and if I leave the battery in. From what you said then perhaps the internal battery is faulty but if you don't usually leave the battery in, you could try leaving the battery in for a few days to see if that restores some power to the internal battery.

Lens making strange clicking noise when turned on or zoomed in.

If the noise wasn't there for 3 days and is there now, it can only get worse. I would return it for a replacement.

Cannon sd750 digital elph will not charge, either on charger or on pc. would this need a ew battery , it is two years old , advice please much appreciatd

As you've guessed, it's time for a new battery. Rechargeables are only meant to last 1-2 years, regardless of their use. Fortunately, your camera uses the NB-4L battery, for which there are many inexpensive generic altenatives these day. Here's some examples from Amazon. Make sure you read the user reviews before purchasing, as some generics are better than others.

Canon sd950is won't turn on

Dear Sir,

Welcome to Fixya
Might want to take a look at this:

A screw inside some Canon PowerShot SD950 IS cameras may loosen and fall out due to vibration that is generated while carrying or using the camera. Apparently a screw might have come out that prevents the camera from turning on.
The repair is free-of-charge, even fro out-of-warranty period.

I think it helps.

Canon PowerShot SD 630 Digital Elph "Memory Card Error"

Hi,
I'm sorry to tell that PowerShot SD 630 does not support SDHC cards over 2 gig.
If you want the camera to take a card over 2 gig then you are stuck standard SD cards.
The other camera does support the card because it's a higher model.

Regards.

Canon S230 Digital Elph has a distorted image in an awful pick.

See this link. If Canon determines that your problem is due to a faulty CCD (and the symptoms indicate that it is), they will repaire your camera at no cost, regardless of warranty status.
