Your mixture screws probibly have to be adjusted.i have a homelite weed whacker and homelite leaf blower.
both had to be adjusted after i used them 6 or 7 times.theres a tool you can buy to move the screws.or you can be cheap like me and use a dremal tool with a cutting wheel on it and cut slots in to be able to adjust with a flat head.
turn the screws clockwise til there just seated, not too tight.then turn each one out counter clockwise to 2.5 turns and start adjusting from there.the first screw is the low setting and the second is the highs. i usally start with the highs.but u can do what you want. u can also youtube on how to adjust.

It sounds like the carburetor is not pumping fuel. There are a few suggestions; mix up some fresh gas today(bad gas); the carburetor may need some adjusting, or the cylinder compression may be below 100 psi and it will take an engine rebuild. The manual says use 50:1 gas mixture, I use a 40:1 gas mixture(3.2 oz 2 cycle oil to 1 gal of gas).
Hope that helps.
good day.

I've found that alot of these causes can result from ethanol gas making the gas. l lines weak and brittle. I found my fuel line had broke off inside the tank. I've also found cracks in some others. JRL

The carb may need adjusting. This requires a speacial tool for the two knobs on the top of the carb.Better yet, remove the roto choke(one nut)on side, then with hacksaw blade cut across knob and knob shroud to create slots for a flat head screwdriver. There is an "L" next to the low end adjustment, the other is high.

SOURCE: craftsman 32cc blower stalls

Your carb is leaning out, causing the thing to die. Try adjusting the mixture screw (out) to richen the mixture. If there is a cap, you can pull it off to go richer. If that doesn't work, either the filter/pickup is plugged, the fuel line is kinked/smashed, or the carb needs to come apart to be cleaned.

SOURCE: Whenever i start my blower

It sounds like you just need to adjust the carburetor. Because these guys make many diaphragm type carbs and know them better than I do, I will send you to THEIR tutorial on how to adjust it. If you don't have the "special " tool, they make to do this, you can make your own. I use automotive type 22 gauge wire connectors and force the plastic end (tapping lightly on them) over the L or H mixture screw head and then turn them to adjust. You can also force the end of a female spade connector onto the end of a flat-blade screwdriver and use that as your "tool" I know there are splined heads, pac-man shaped heads, D-shaped heads ...a few different kinds...you probably have the splined ones. Use an automotive wire connector or a small piece of aluminum tubing flared over the heads works too. Anyway, once you conquer being able to turn the mixture screws, it is easy.

I recently tuned up my blower. It starts great but if I turn it off Nd try to restart it it floods and will not start until I let it sit for awhile.

If the engine is warm and you shut it down, leave the choke off, lower the revs and start it. (when the choke is wide open you are using the fresh air coming in to dry the spark plugs and prevent flooding). If the motor is already flooded use that procedure to dry the plugs, then go back to full choke until it tries to start and quits again, then use half choke and pull one more time... works all the time.

Weedeater FB25 5months old only used once and was hard to start right from the box. Can't get it to run now. What steps should I take on troubleshooting

This sounds much like poor car settings ( set too lean ) you need to richen up the L and H screw on the carb, unfortunatley there will be anti tamper sleeves on the carb or a special tool reqired to adjust them, turning the screws anti clockwise will richen the mixture if you manage to remove the caps or get hold of the apropriate tool.

What is the starting procedure?

Start with the choke on full press the fuel siphon button till the lines are full of fuel. pull handle until it tries to start but stops. move the choke to half then start again. let it run for 60 seconds on full. don't move the choke to full or it will stop. Either slow the revs and then put the choke on full or keep the revs high and slowly move the choke to full (to allow the governor to slowly advance with the new revs)

Have you tried choking it about half way and see if that helps? Does it do the same after it is warmed up?
