Transferring songs to your Trio MP3 Player
This is the Copy and Paste Method
A. Connect your MP3 player to a working USB port
When the unit is connected to your computer, it will create a gray and green icon in the system tray (lower right hand corner of your
desktop).
The icon will be called safely remove hardware.
B.Go to the "My Computer" section of your computer. In there you will find a section called "devices with removable storage"
Locate the drive created by the unit, generally just called Removable Disk, with a letter in Parenthesis. Drive letters vary depending
on your system configuration.
C.Open the drive by either double left clicking on the drive itself, or by right clicking, or left clicking on the "Open" option on
the menu.
D.Locate the music stored on your computer. Generally this is stored in the "My Music" folder of your computer.
NOTE: if you are unable to locate the music on your computer, click on start, search, files and folders, then search for .MP3, or.WMA

I have bought a new memory stick, I've never used one before and dont know how to use it to store and carry information correctly?

Just take a look at the back panel of your computer.
You would find 2 or more USB slots which are meant for your memory stick (we call it USB pen-drive as well).

Insert this memory stick into one of these slots. (Align the plastic side properly and it ll fit in easily).
Normally there is an LED light on the stick that glows when you connect it to the computer.

Now click on Start - (My) Computer
Or just press Windows+E

Alongwith the hard-drive & DVD-drive, you would find the Memory Stick icon there (manufacturer's name like Kingston, SanDisk etc would appear).
Double click on it to open and see whats stored inside (right now it would be blank as u v not stored anything in it)

Now you want to store something, say, a song in it,

Very simple. Just open the Music folder. Right click on your song. Click on Send To, and then click on the memory stick (removable media) name.

You can alternatively copy the song (right click on the song, click on copy), go to the memory stick drive (open My Computer, double click on stick icon), and paste the song there (again right click, click on paste).

Once the file is copied, disconnect the stick from computer.
Now your data is ready to travel with you.

How do I downloald songs on my new MP3

If you are downloading songs onto your player from Cd's that you have, you will first need to copy the music from your Cd's into a folder. Put all of your songs into your My Music folder. With some players, you can simply navigate to where your music is, right click on the file, select Copy, then navigate to where your player is and select paste.

Your player should be hooked up to your computer via your usb cord, which should have come with your player. If you are not sure where your mp3 player is on your computer, try going into My Computer. You should see something like Local Disk (C:), Removable Disk (F:) or Removable Disk (J:). My players usually show up in Removable Disk (J:). If you are lucky you will see the mp3 player file as soon as you go into My Computer. But if not, click on different removable files until you find yours.

Once you have found your player, click to go into it. You should see a list of folders. There should be one that says, Music. Go into that. Past the music file that you previously copied by right-clicking and selecting Paste. Your music file will transfer.

You can also transfer your music files via Windows Media Player. To do this, start up the Windows Media Player. At the top of the player you should see Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn and Sync. Click Sync. If you have music already on your computer (everyone does) you will see the songs already on your computer. Select your song and then drag it over to where it says Sync List. Make sure your device is already connected to your computer! You should see your player in the Sync List. Then click the button that says Start Sync. Thats it!

Cannot copy [song-name]: The drive cannot find the sector requested.

Have you checked the extension of the files?
Make sure that those can be supported.

Else right click the song and click SEND TO and select the player.

If still it says the same error, then move those files to another folder and copy them.

That might work.
