Tried to copy an mp4/YMP file to Zen V plus media

Tried to copy an mp4 file to Zen V plus media library but wouldn't because it was an invalid source file. I download the file from google video as a YMP file ( I guess it's a mp4 and YMP). What do I do to get it on my player.

and how do I change the format of a video so that it will play on windows media player. I have done it before without any special programs but i can't remember how I did it.

Can't convert mp4 files through Creative Zen video converter

Creative Zen has its own video format, so you need a thrid party video converter to convert videos to the format fit for your player.
Here I recommend you try Wondershare Video Converter Platinum, which could convert between all popular Video formats ( AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, FLV, MPEG etc.) that support all popular portable media players (such as Creative Zen, Zune/Zune HD, iPod/iPhone and PSP) and the latest iPod Nano 5G, iPod Touch 3, iPhone 3GS/OS 3.1.

Music

You have to save the files into a library and then copy them to your mp4 player. Once it is in your library you can open the mp4 player through my computer and copy the file to it.

Using the instructions below try Cleanup first, if that doesn't work... (if you have a backup of all your music on your computer), try the format option

This is from Creative's website:
Zen V Plus and Zen V
  1. Detach your player from the PC if it is connected, and turn off the player.
If the player stops responding, you can reset the player. To reset the player, gently
insert a thin object into the Reset hole located below the power switch.
2. Press and hold the Play button while powering on your player.
3. When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.

It will display the following options:
Clean Up
Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.
