My 997c has a low voltage message on the screen every 20 minutes.

When cu shuts down does the contactor release?When compressor shuts off are you still getting 24 all the way to contactor?? If system shuts down with contactor pulled in it's a high voltage issue. If contactor lets go then you know it's a low voltage issue. Possible short, check tstat wire for rodent damage. Tighten high voltage wires in disconnect, be safe!!

Common cause is low crank voltage during start. Root cause bad battery connection, low charge, failed battery. If a low voltage occurs the Electronic control modules can trip into the limp home driving mode. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect the battery which will reset the electronic controllers and see if the problem goes away.

It is probably a defective ballast board or a faulty PSU. The ballast is the high voltage power board connected to the lamp.The PSU is the board that supplies power in different voltages to the other internal parts. One of the DC lines from PSU goes straight to the ballast. The repair is done testing the voltage from PSU to ballast. The job must be done by a technician.

did you change the screen with the oil pump?
sometimes the screen will get clogged up and lose oil pressure.

If the tuner is bad, changing the mainboard should fix the problem.

Possible low voltage condition would cause that kind of a problem. To small a cord without the ability to carry and maintain the voltage would cause a voltage drop. I would test the voltage supply and make sure it is within 10% of that required for your A/C to operate properly.

The power inverter board is most likely starting to fail. The unit should be sent in for factory service. They will change the board and test it out to make sure that another board did not cause the fault.

If this happens after it has been on for 5 to 20 minutes and can be turned back on after 10 minutes or so, there is a transistor labelled Q601 whose collector lead has been formed and is too short to project through the solder on the circuit board. When it gets hot it pulls away from the solder. If this happens right away or after only a few seconds, there is a 3 terminal voltage regulator with 7805 in its part number that may have a low output voltage rather than 5 volts.
