My maytag bravos quiet series 300 washing machine has just started having a problem with balance. A message uL shows, the cycle stops in spin. Not sure what to do.

I have a problem with my bravos quiet series 300. It's only one year and a half. I put for pair of pants in it for to fabric softener. Problem begain now it's reading F51

"uL" means "Unbalanced Load" -- open the lid, redistribute the load evening, close lid, and press the START/PAUSE button to continue the cycle.

"5d" means "Suds Detected" ("5uds detected"). When it happens, wait for the cycle to completely finish, then run the SAME LOAD of laundry through a cold water wash AGAIN... and DO NOT add detergent or anything else. It may take a couple more of these to clear out all the suds. And next time, be sure you're only using an "HE" detergent, being careful not to use too much of it.

You are spot on. If there is a lot of movement in the drum (>5mm) then it'ds the drum bearings (big job) but check the motor bearings too as much easier to fix.

UL bravo error code
Unbalanced load? Don't over stuff the washer. The load sensing moves the drum back and forth at the start. If it can't balance the load it will err.

Maytag bravo quiet series 300: Stopped at spin:
We have a Maytag Bravo Quiet Series 300 washing machine, the door latch is broken. I have the replacement part ( the locking mechanism) but I need can not figure out how to get the top of the washer to flip up to give me access to top front of the machine to remove the old part and replace it with the new.

How do I flip back the top (not the door) of this machine?
