I am looking for the cable for a Craftsman Eager 1 walk behind gas push mower. If I could find the parts breakdown somewhere on the internet I could get the part ordered.

Look for a plate on the mower with the Sears model number on it...something like 917.569834 Once you have that, go to site site...input that number and download the manual.

PARTS LIST AND PICTURE.. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW OR DO??

I have an old craftsman Eager 1 self propelled 5.0 mower. I have been looking for a manual. The model # looks to be 131.4402 its hard to read. So far I have come up with nothing.

On a walk-behind mower, the oil drain plug can usually be found on the underneath side of the deck. The drain plug usually has a square head.

32 parts gasoline : 1 part oil

I have an Eager 1, as well and when I try to pull the cord it does not turn at all. It's stuck. I hit a tree root and since then I have had problems with it. I have 2 mowers so it was not used last year at all. Gas was drained and it was stored in a shed. Anyway, I know nothng about mowers other than spark plugs, gas, oil, sharp blades and filters. Is the motor seized? Thanks
