Dacor Gas wall oven

Hi,
I have a Dacor gas wall oven . The door does not seal good and the door stop arm keeps coming off of the roller and then the door will just fall when opening. Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks

seems the door closes fine. just wont close that final 1/2 -1'. If I use the self cleaning lock it will pull it shut.

Hinges do not appear damaged but the right side (looking at the front} appears lose where the rivet connects the two hinge parts.

Also the stop arm wants to slip off the grooved roller and then the door will fall when opening.

Could the hinges be bent just enough that not noticable?

Have had the door off and oven pulled from wall. I am mechanically inclined and just can,t seem to figure out what the heck is causing this.I have tried to tighten the rivet on hinge but that still did,nt help. Does not look as if there is any adjustments available on hinge or spring arm. Don,t know what else to do.

Is there tension on the door at the point where it doesnt seal,is the spring broken/missing,when the door opens and closes is there enough travel from point a to point b inside the cabinet on both sides of the hinge area, is the sping loaded mechanism damaged .

ive seen in the past were people put heavy objects on the door such as a turkey to baste and that can also have an effect on the door not closing if there is any loose parts that could be the cause of the gap where the door isnt closing you say the rivet is loose can that account for the 1/2 -1 inch space we are talking about there is suppose to be tension from a spring of some what thats what causes the door to close, look at where the roller rides on the arm/door hinge is there wear and tear on either roller or hinge.if not the next step wold be to remove the door only if you are confident and you do sound mechanically incline this can be done on some models open door about 4-5 inches it should stay open on its own and lift up door shuld come off the hinges.

How to replace door hinge on old gas tappan wall oven

Don't know about your gas oven, but we have a Tappan wall oven (electric) that we want to get rid of. Maybe you could get the door hinges and spring from it? We are in East Tennessee.

My Dacor oven keeps beeping and flashing PRB. How do I stop the beeping?

Most unwanted beeping on Dacor products are due to a bad touchpad... Use your model # and start looking for a replacement , by touchpad I mean a part something like this one: Dacor Touchpad 62678B

I don't see the make and model number of your unit. I only see part of your post. Please post the make and model number. It should be a simple fix. From what I do see in your post, it sounds like the control board will need to be replaced.

Wall oven removal and installation

Turn off the gas. Look in the front of the oven for mounting screws. Open the door and look inside the frame for mounting screws. Remove the mounting screws, slide the oven out carefully,it will be heavy. Unplug the cord.Disconnect the gas line. Set the oven aside in one piece.

Our Dacor Millennia wall oven will not heat

There is a manual reset button behind the vent under the touch pad. Turn off the power. Open the door. Remove the vent. Behind the latch is a two wire switch. press the red button on it until it clicks. reassemble and turn on power. It over heated when the power went off by stopping the cooling fan.

PCS 130 Keypad

Dacor probably won't cover anything. F1 is either the touch pad or ERC (clock). If it stops beeping when the touch pad is uplugged from the ERC then the touch pad is the problem if not it is the ERC. Call Dacor Customer service to get a price on the parts and to voice your displeasure.
