I have been trying to play sound clips on my laptop and it's speakers have a problem. each time anything makes a sounds on my laptop, it sounds awful, tinny, echo and really slow and distant. i have tried putting head fones in, and it still sounds the same. any suggestions please?
Where i can find Drivers for MotherBoard of this computer >?
How long has this been going on? Have you tried updating the soundcard drivers or rolling back to the last set of drivers if this is a recent problem?
OK, first I need to know the make and model of the laptop.
Here is how you get the most up to date drivers for your audio.
Go to this page to start: http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acerdriver...
Work your way from left to right. Your notebook falls under Aspire 5630.
Scroll down in right pane to "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver 6.0.1.5350 and click on it.
This will show you the definition and a download button for these drivers.
Click download and install when the download is complete.
Then you will need to restart your machine and hopefully this will cure your issue.
Good luck, let me know.
I am assuming that you also installed the driver, not just downloaded and restarted.
Since that did not help, we will go in the opposite direction.
We will roll back to a previous driver.
To do this go to "computer" and right click on it. Then click on "properties"
In the "tasks" list, click " Device Manager"
down the list to "sound,vid....."
Click the plus to open it and double click the audio device.
This will open a properties window and you want the "driver" tab to be front.
Click "roll back driver" and follow the prompts.
If the "roll back driver" button is still lit after this, do it again.
Yes, we want to roll back 2 times if possible.
Can you also answer this question.
Is this a recent issue or has the sound been choppy since you got this computer?
Good luck.
OK
The only other thing I would try if it was mine would be to go into Device manager and Uninstall the sound card.
Making sure I have current drivers on hand, I would then restart the computer. Windows will discover the hardware when it starts up and will attempt to install the drivers. It will probably succeed, but if it can't find them you can install them manually from your file.
