Wifi on samsung netbook keeps disconnecting - Samsung NC10-14GW Notebook

Hello. It could be that your "Auto Network Switch" setting is on..

What Auto Network Switch does: when the WiFi gets too low the phone automatically switches to cellular, and when cellular connection gets too low, the phone will switch to WiFi

All Samsung Galaxy's are not alike for it's menu settings.. but you can try:

for S4 and up:
Settings>hold down on WiFi settings for a second then let go > un-check box at top for "Smart Network Switch"

If your device is having issues trying to scan for your router.. try turning off your router for 2 minutes, then turn it back on.. make sure you wait a few minutes for your router to properly boot back up before you try scanning for your WiFi network again

Most wifi switch on Samsung are located on the front edge in front of the keyboard.

goes to system and devices administratos, look at network adapter and see if your wifi is there and see the status of it. sometimes you need to uninstall the driver first, and then re-install new driver. good luck

There should be a switch either along the edges of the netbook, or there could be a option in your number keys.

Look for a colored FN key, which stands for function. Then look at your keys for anything that looks like a wifi symbol, hit the FN+that key and that should allow you to turn it on and off.

Hi, I presume your connecting to your home wifi router, if so try deleting your password/connection settings for it and start a fresh connection

make sure you're plugged in....

Right Click THe Wifi Icon by your clock and choose to repair connection

if still not connecting.... uninstall wifi from the device manager and reboot

If your wifi is password protected, you may need to disconnect and try to reconnect and reenter your wifi password.

Make sure that others have the same issue, this could be a sign that your wifi access point or router is going out or that your wifi adapter on the netbook is faulty.
