My lenovo brand laptap needs bluetooth peripheral device to be install

check device manager if there are drivers that were not properly installed, usually with (!) symbols or reinstall drivers using vista drivers.

navigate down to the modem/bluetooth drivers, try to use VISTA drivers.

If you can boot up in SAFE MODE then you maybe able to download the drivers from the Lenovo WEB site.

The same model Lenovo can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.

If you want to connect a Bluetooth peripheral device to a computer, you may need to download a new driver to support it.

There are two approaches to this:

If your Bluetooth device came with a driver on a disc, you can install the driver directly from the disc.

Watch the system tray in the bottom right corner of Windows.

You should see a notification that Windows has detected a Bluetooth device, followed by another notification that the device has been installed properly.

The installation it is referring to is that of the driver. If this does not work as expected, proceed to the next step.

Click the "Start" button in Windows, then click "Control Panel." Launch "Device Manager."

Expand the "Bluetooth Devices" entry in the Device Manager by clicking the plus sign next to it.

Find your Bluetooth device listed under this heading, right-click it and select "Update driver" from the list of options.

Wait as Windows automatically finds and configures any missing Bluetooth peripheral device driver downloads.

Re-install the drivers using driver CD or download the drivers from the lenovo web site

go to lenovo homepage and search for bluetooth drivers for your specific model according to your operating system and download and install the driver provided. it should solve your problem.

There are some reasons why Bluetooth of your system wont detect any Bluetooth peripheral device. It might be that the Bluetooth is not enabled or there's a missing driver. You may try to enable the bluetooth by pressing the FN+F5. For the bluetooth driver update, please follow the instructions below.

1. First, go to this link to download the latest Bluetooth driver.

2. On that page look for Bluetooth.

3. Ensure that you will download the driver that corresponds to your operating system.

4. Try to save the .exe file to your desktop. Install it then restart your computer.

5. After rebooting, try to press the FN+F5 to enable the bluetooth.

Hi,
the product key found on most pcs and laptops is for the operating system ie the key is for Windows 7. The key for Office 2007 is a different key and it is typically found inside the case that contained the Office 2007 installation disc. Ask me for more help if you need it.

Hi, if you haven't tried the Bluetooth ("Wizard") to install the device? Go to the "Start Search" window, Type: Bluetooth, the Icon appear, select to open. In the "Views (column) there will be "Add Wireless Device" and "Bluetooth Settings," add the device to be identified; if not present, and (Setup / Install) the device. Restart the computer when finished! If this did not "fix" the problem?, go back to search: Type: Sony, "if a Sony Application Installer appear in the seach?" select to open, and in the (Bluetooth Device), and restart the computer to finish! if you install xp then find out the xp drivers in www.lenovo.com > select country > support and downloads > model number> etc. After downloading file >install the driver > after installation reboot your computer > after machin on you just switch on the wifi or bluetooth switch (near you laptop hinzes) and try it.
