Need a master key to reset parental control on dsi

Go to parental controls in system settings.
When it asks 'Change Parental Controls settings?' tap yes.
When it brings up a numeric keypad, tap the center button, "I Forgot".
Next, tap "I Forgot" again. Now you will be shown a screen with a number at the bottom (the 'inquiry number').
Go to: http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp
Enter the 'inquiry number' number in the field marked confirmation number. Set the current date in your timezone and click get reset code. And Voila! Your DSi is now parental control free!

I need to know what movie to put down for perental controles for dsi

all you need to do is go into the settings for a dsi and then select parental controls. you follow the directions to set the controls. if you want to remove the lock then you need the code to do so or you can contact nintendo (1-800-255-3700). you can also try this tool which is used to recover dsi parental codes. http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi

Hello there,
Go into the settings menu --> Parental Controls --> Reset Parental Controls. Then click through the confirmation screen until you have a confirmation code. At this point you can either call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 OR Go to this form and enter the confirmation code http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi Even though it was designed for the Wii, it should work on the DSi.

I bought my dsi xl from someone off of craigslist and i dont have the pin number for the ds what can i do to get one???? please help if possible

Are you talking about parental control lock? or a pin that you need access to the system at all. If it is parental controls, there is a very easy way around this and I will post if I get a response.

Hi we have put the parental lock on our dsi and cannot remember remember the code or memorable word, what should we do

Go to the shop or retail you bought it from and ask them if they can make any changes to it. If not, double check through any notes to make sure you definetely dont know the parental code.
You could also contact support which should be in the DSI box. Anyway, why put the code in the first place?

4 got password 4 dsi it gave me the number 11730953 to give to u

Call nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 between 6am and 7pm and follow the instructions the operator gives u to get to a nintendo worker that deals with DSI problems. They may ask ur birth date(18 and over can get master key 17 and under can't) anyways, give them ur number and they will give u a master key. enter the code on the page after the one with the number u told them and enter the master key. There u go!

Bought a black DSI at a yard sale and how can you change pin #!!

The other solution is to go over to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and from here, you can provide the confirmation number on your DSi, and get your reset code. Unlike the 1-800-255-3700 solution, this one is available 24/7.

Despite it saying Wii Parental control reset tool, it also applies to DSi as well.

How to Change the Parental Controls:
Follow the directions below to make changes to any existing Parental Controls.

On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
Select the right arrow twice to reach the third page, then select "Parental Controls."
Select "Yes," to change the parental controls.
You will be prompted for your 4-digit PIN.
- If you know the PIN, select the empty text box and enter it using the on-screen keyboard, then select "OK" to continue.
- If you don't know the PIN, select "I forgot," then select the empty text box for the answer to the secret question and enter it using the on-screen keyboard. Select "OK" to continue.
- If you don't know either the PIN or the secret question, the Parental Controls will need to be reset. Please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.
Select "PIN" to change the PIN or "Change Settings" to update the setting you wish to change. Once the changes are made, select "Done" to confirm any changes.
