Problem for Sony Grand WEGA KDF-55WF655. Hello, My TV was working fine when I shut it off but it will not turn back on. I now have the standby light flashing 5 times. When I power it back on the fans come on and the standyby light flashes green for about 30 seconds then it will start flashing red before the TV shuts down again. All the time there is no picture or sound. Any ideas?
5 times Red LED blinks means Lamp Driver Error. (KDF-55WF655)
2 possible reasons, either Lamp is gone or Ballast Supply got bad.
Replace lamp first, in most cases it solved the problem.
How old is this TV and did you replaced lamp recently?

I own a sony gand wega projection tv model number kdf-55wf655 and the hue does not work at all. I see only green people!!!!
Same thing happened to me yesterday (5 times Red LED) so I took lamp out, then put it back because company was coming. Then set powered on OK and is working now, with nno new parts. Just lucky for awhile, I guess.
