I have a 2yr old Maytag MAH8700AWW and I'm getting the "sr" error code. I tried unplugging it, turning it off and on, and I get the error code reguardless of what I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a sr code on my maytag neptune washer. I have read that the computer board needs to be replaced. But, it sounds like the motor is just humming when the washer is on. Everything seems to be working, but wont spin. Do you think we need both or just a new motor which is under warrenty?

My Maytag Neptune front load washer is displaying a "Sr" error message. When I turn it off, it just keep coming back on again and again. When Sr appears I banish it for a few weeks or longer like this: (1) Close the washing machine door. (2) Turn off the GFCI or circuit breaker and wait for ALL lights on the washer to go out. (3) Open the washer door and leave it open while doing steps 4 and 5: (4) --- Turn on the GFCI or circuit breaker. (5) --- Press the washer's Power button to turn it on, then again to turn it off.

The "OE" error code means the control detected the water level in the
machine is above the overflow level. According to your description the
first failure suspect is the water valve possibly stuck. Perform the
troubleshooting as described in the tech sheets.

I have a maytag mah7800 also / great machine . never had a problem yet . if you remove the screws in the back holding the top you can lift it off . inside you wil find the tec sheet . on the side in a plastic sleeve . in it is the code . it will also tell you what to do ,. mm hope this helped . let us know mm
When starting the spining cycle I could observed that the pump's cable touch the metal floor. When that happen the "Hr" error code appear inmediately. Conclusion: With years of use the cable's insulation was wear out. I strap the cable so it can not touch the metal and problem solved. Hint: You should also check the dampers (4) for excesive wear.
there is a small button on the inside edge where the door closes, it was broken off since there was nothing there I didnt see it.It was only a hole where the button was.So I had to get a new button and replace it.
