Toner End warning occurs - even after replacing toner cartridge. Contacts cleaned and still error message blocks ability to print from my Konica Minolta magicolor 2480

Take the cyan image unit out, clean the contacts on the chip remove any oil from your and interfering with the electrical contacts. Is the toner cartridge Third party or OEM??? if third party get a OEM. Sure it does not say Cyan Image Unit not Toner Cartridge?

means that the toner cartridge you are trying to rotate to is already
in the top position or you need to install another toner cartridge
before you can rotate to the color you want to replace.
To fix
the toner not installed message clean the three contacts on green chip
on the right side of the toner cartridge. You may see black lines on
them. Use an eraser or rubbing alcohol.
It won't print anything if one cartridge is empty, even black when the colour is empty. Are you using new or refilled cartridges? The cartridge has a chip on top that counts your number of prints, so it could feel full, but has reached it's end counter. Try another cartridge. That should solve your problem

The error can appear at any time but seems to be most annoying after a paper jam or other error. It is also important to make sure that the cartridges themselves are clear of toner dust. Pay particulair attention to any copper contacts on the cartridge.

One of the most frustrating features of the Magicolor 2400/2500 series of printers is the very annoying X Cartridge not installed message
This error message can occur at any time with both original cartridges and or refilled cartridges. It is caused by either toner / paper dust covering either the chip on the toner cartridge or dust covering the chip sensor inside the printer. It can also be caused by a faulty chip reader inside the printer.

Firs of all, pleas use search, here are many problem like this, this is a common problem for MC 24xx/25XX series.
you have to remove pc drum, and all toners, find small black plastic switch on right side from toners push it down with screwdriver, then you can rotate the toner rack manually, remove all toners, under the toners in right side you will see a chip reader with 3 pins, first check that all pins are in same level, if ok, then use pressure air to clean it, also clean toner chips, then reinstall everything.
