SOURCE: Camera mode won't come up. . .
Just a quicky, this happened to me whilst in warranty and it required a replacement PCB (printed circuit board). Sorry for the bad news

This is a link that has camera reviews on it.
Apparently the camera that someone reviewed there goes fuzzy.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

SOURCE: my fuji s5100 will only go into playback mode not
Just an idea, when mine messes up I remove the batteries for a minute and then put them back in. Of course you have to reset the clock and maybe some of your settings but it might return to the defaults.
Hope it works.

Samsung S630 Digital camera imige4 is clear until I take the picture then on play back it has horizontal lines. Help
Have you checked the display mode you're in? If you have the display set to off (to save power) and also the picture review time set to off, then you'll just see a black screen. Try pressing the 'Disp.' button below the screen when the camera is on - it should cycle through different settings with each press: Off, On, On with picture info. Similarly, in the playback mode this will show you more or less info about the picture you are viewing.
Even if the display is switched off, if you have your 'review' option in the menu set to anything other than Off (i.e. 2 seconds), then you should see the picture you've taken appear on the screen straight after taking it.
If it's not that, then I don't know the answer....
