This is a link that has camera reviews on it.
Apparently the camera that someone reviewed there goes fuzzy.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

SOURCE: my fuji s5100 will only go into playback mode not

Just an idea, when mine messes up I remove the batteries for a minute and then put them back in. Of course you have to reset the clock and maybe some of your settings but it might return to the defaults.
Hope it works.

I have a Canon Power Shot A520 and have just put in a new memory card 4GB and new batteries. When I turn on camera is says memory card error at the top of the sceen. Why is that?

The A520 is designed to work with SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible.

You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

Canon a610 no display of new pictures only previous

I almost have the same problem.
My camera automatically switches between playback and camera mode quickly only for a while, then it remains still in the playback. When it remains in playback,if I toggle the playback/camera switch few times,it may work for some shots but again the problem begins. Shooting/playback mode switch

in the end it was my memory card which suddenly went faulty.after formatting it, (see above added comment) it worked for some pictures then i switched to playback and this time it said memory card error and shut down. well if it would have said this in the first place would have saved a lot of trouble i almost threw the thing away.(the camera) so i puts a new card inside and its working like new, all the playback i can handle. goes to show its not always as bad as it looks with a little patience.....merci

No playback on DCR-TRV103

In playback mode the lCD displays the battery time, hi8 symbol and the tape counter. all the functions work the tape will play, rewind, fast forward. The screen stays blank on playback and the tape counter stays at 0:00:00 eventhough I can see the tape turning. I also hooke the camera to my tv and I got no picture.

Turn on camera but the lcd sceen is black

Have you checked the display mode you're in? If you have the display set to off (to save power) and also the picture review time set to off, then you'll just see a black screen. Try pressing the 'Disp.' button below the screen when the camera is on - it should cycle through different settings with each press: Off, On, On with picture info. Similarly, in the playback mode this will show you more or less info about the picture you are viewing.

Even if the display is switched off, if you have your 'review' option in the menu set to anything other than Off (i.e. 2 seconds), then you should see the picture you've taken appear on the screen straight after taking it.

If it's not that, then I don't know the answer....

Powershot S1 IS trouble shooting in images of lcd monitor

Try playing back pictures you know were captured properly ( either with another properly working camera or with your camera before the problem with quality has appeared ). If the image is ok in playback but 'noisy' in capture mode then the CCD sensor is faulty /on its way out. Ask Canon if they repair CCD faults on this model free of charge.
