Tell your boss to give you the factory disks, you need them. Your Windows install is corrupt. Trust me, I've been doing this since Windows 3.0.

Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.

Unable to load desktop ASUS 1005HA XP SP3

Hi

It seems you are stuck in a windows loading loop

Please do the following

1) Go into safe mode (swith the pc on and keep pressing F8 repeatedly until you have a menu presented to you, from the menu choose safe mode)

2) Once loaded click on Start>Programs>Accessories> System Tools> System restore

And restore your computer back to a point before the update was done

if it still loops when using safe mode through the method shown above then unfortunaltey you will have to reformat the PC

Please can i ask that you leave feedback and vote if this has been useful

Laptop keeps looping at start

There are some viruses that will cause a computer to do that. I have had customers tell me they had some luck with Stopzilla to get their computer back up and running, but the only way I have found is to re-install the OS. A good repair shop should be able to retrieve your files and do that for you.

The laptop is not letting me get into safe mode after pressing f8 and choosing safe mode the laptop just goes into a loop and does not load windows

seems like an update have messed your xp. if you have a windows xp cd start with that and choose repair mode. then run checkdisk "chkdsk /R" instructions http://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=5097
you can also try hirens boot cd. with that you can try start your computer with hirens boot cd(mini xp) and run system restore or run checkdisk.

Windows xp will not load on my computer....

It could be your hard drive problem. Which I called it, "Crash." I would suggest you try to format the hard drive and reload the operation system with your installation CD.

what you are describing is the blue screen of death, meaning theres a hardware or software problem, try to boot into safe mode and perform a system restore, if that doesn't work use your XP cd, let it load the drivers and the ask it to fix the existing XP installation, anything that you have saved in my documents should be safe and the problem should be solved. If the blue screen reappears then you have a hardware problem

Keeps looping into safemode

When restarting, try pushing F12 until the boot menu comes up and then choose "Last Known Good Configuration" or the Windows XP (or other OS) non-safe mode option.
