Mitsubishi VS-50501 - Black Screen

My Mitsubishi TV was working fine until today. Now when I turn it on, the screen is black with no sound. I unplug the tv so it can reset itself but that is not working. Any idea on what the problem(s) could be?

Is the power light staying on? If so press imput and menu together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a 2 digit repeating code. If that doesnt work. Check for CRT coolant leaks on the boards. This seems to happen alot as do faulty capacitors. Coolant leaks will be located on the chassis directly under the tubes they can cause corrosion and prevent your set from starting especially in the VS models.

Mitsubishi vs 5051 rear projection tv sound but no picture

No video but good audio Mitsubishi VS5051. Check R509 and R 519, 100 ohm resistors located on the main PCB near the flyback transformer. Also bad connections on any of the yokes and the vertical output IC will cause the same problem.

Check the vertcle yoke pins for solder cracks. Check verticle output circuitry resistors and transistors. And also check for Coolant leaks from the CRTs this happens alot. Check capacitors for any signs of sweeling or heat as well.
