Cant open jt27 staple gun to load staples

Hi Maria, I'm sorry you are not having luck with your JT27 stapler. Unfortunately you did not purchase the correct staples for this tool. The JT27 Stapler uses the JT21 staples in a green box. The staples come in 3 different sizes (1/4", 5/16", 3/8"). You can purchase these staples online or at your local Home Depot or Lowe's Store.

As for opening the tool - please see the attached picture for assistance.

How do I free up a jammed staple in an Arrow P22 model?

Hi Francis. Remove the staples from the Arrow P22. Place a piece of wood (rod) about a quarter of an inch thick between the arms of the stapler just behind where the stapler is ejected and press down a couple of times until the jammed staple is dislodged. If the plunger is already jammed in the downward position then first pull it up and then push it down again. This procedure has worked for me on a variety of staplers over a period of very many years. Good luck!!

What staples does a black and decker electric stapler 9700 take and where can I buy them?

Hi Stephen,
Of course the manual states to use their staples for best results.
However it does at least state it is designed for a wide variety.
Most hardware stores have a range of staples to choose from.
Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Lowes etc. Try a chisel point this may help penetrate the wood deep enough. All staples are not made the same. So again trial and error may be the quickest route. Fortunately you can purchase small boxes for your testing.
The manual for this stapler is here:
(Page 2 talks about the staples to use.)

Good luck and hope this helps!

How to load staples?

    • 1 Push in the push rod plate on the back of the Arrow T50P and press down to unclip the push rod from the gun. Pull the push rod out of the staple channel and away from the staple gun.
    • 2 Insert a strip of staples into the channel with the tips of the staples pointing toward the bottom of the staple gun.
    • 3 Place the end of the push rod into the staple channel of the gun. The end of the push rod has a small, solid piece of metal that fits into the staple channel.
    • 4 Press the rod all the way into the staple gun until the rod plate engages in the notch at the rear of the gun.

My husband got staples stuck in my Arrow JT 21 staple gun. I can't get them to budge, and loading it is a problem. NOthing seems to work. Does anything flip down? The spring is out; staples are stuck...

Its not your husbands fault Truthfuly the gun is a peice of junk it was never made to last they start to rust on the inside and that bindes it all up you have broken springs honestly throw it in the trash and get a new one but spray WD 40 in it this will make it last longer

Staples are stuck inside the stapler and will not come out

Typically you do not open these up.
Makes it difficult to remove stuck or wrong staples.
I have had good luck removing the staple ram rod and rapping firmly on the **** of the stapler against a wooden table. The idea is jolting the stuck staples into reverse out the way they went in. Tedious process but usually works. Removing the jammed staples in the nose at the striker plate requires using needle nose pliers and a sharp awl or small screw driver used on very small screws.
My T50 Arrow stapler is over 20 years old.
Still works great. Sometimes I slide in the wrong size staples by mistake. The process above usually works.
Good luck!

Hi can't seem to reload stapler

All you do is open the end peice and slide the staples in on the two rails, point down. You should be able to see in the end to make sure nothing is blocking the rail with a flashlight. You probably have the wrong size staples. You can only use # 214, 215, 276.
