I installed windows 7 and my motherboard asus p5ad2-e deluxe doesn't see audio devices.
i tried all audio drivers, but it seems not to be the problem.
anyhow i still can't find win7 drivers for my MB.
This worked for me. You need the sound drivers for the "Intel C-Media High Definition
Audio CMi9880".
I went to this sight www.softwarepatch.pl/plikd.php
Its in a different language but click on the box.
i downloaded the audio file called UDAX008(Logo56.62).zip.
Click on the box, and downloaded the zip file.
Unzipped it.
Then change the compatibility mode of the Setup.exe file to Winxp Sp3 by going to the properties of the Setup.exe file and click on the Compatibility tab. Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for". And change it to Windows XP Service pack 3.
The drivers are actually meant for windows xp but they are working fine for me and im very happy now. I was worried like you. I hope it works for you.

Install 1.44 realtek sound driver it will work definetly
No need to worry for the hardware support, go to control panel, look for the windows update icon, windows 7 automatically searches for the latest drivers for your device. using your device signature... Takes time but no effort needed. just wait....
