I ran the recovery disk and then there was no sound, it says there is no audio device, no mixers

First check is your volume mixer if you notice that your audio device is properly working. Simply right click your audio shown beside your time and date and select Open Volume Mixer make it sure that no one is mute. If it is working properly, second is go to control panel and select RECOVERY and open system restore, choose exact date that your audio device working properly. If not simply uninstall and install the driver. You may need to re-install the audio drivers again.Though you haven't included your machine's model and Operating System,try this site for driver downloads.
Make sure you select the driver that corresponds with your operating system.

take the disk your computer came with one might say recovery disk or drivers disk depending on what you have. and install your audio driver, you might of deleted it by accident, it happens. Please vote for me helping out
