How does one get to change the decimal places on a ER-180 to suit one's operational needs? I don't seem to get it from the manual ...
Er IF According to our system documentation: Error Detection Category: Abnormality of BLDC fan motor for ice making. Error Generation Factors: It is caused when F/B signal isn't over 115 seconds during the BLDC fan motor operating. Remarks: Poor BLDC motor connection, drive IC and TR
This is what I found when I input the IF code into our system.
check your evaporator fan maybe the fan blade hitting edges or the shaft or bushing has damage cause of buzzing sounds apply lubrication or replace bushing but before you dismantle try to off the unit.
I recently had this message on my Westinghouse fridge. The CN and ER message stands for Connection Error. This is due to a power surge.
I suggest you disconnect the power cord from the powerpoint and switch off for 5 minutes.
When connecting, if you have a double power point use the other head as the initial one may be faulty and this may have caused the power surge.
Hopefully this will fix the CN ER message to disappear.
That stands for "error defrost heater"
Even though the refrigerator has gone through a defrost cycle, if a temp sensor does not reach a set temp within an hour, that error will display. You may have a bad defrost heater, defrost relay, thermal fuse, blocked defrost drain,..... something wrong with the defrost system anyway.
There is a communications error between the control board and the display board. Check the connector located on the top hinge cover. Remove the hinge cover and check to make sure the connector is tightly secured.
