It works like a fridge or ac. When its charge gets low it can't cool. It will cycle on and off as freon goes around the circuit. Must be leaking around seals or crack in line. A good ac man could check its pressure to determine. Also, thermostat could be going bad, I would check that as well.
Hi, going off a previous problem with my shower being colder in winter i found a simple solution.
The copper water supply pipes in my house were not insulated and in the colder air that made a dramatic difference in temperature with the hot water being cooler and also because of the much cooler water from the cold supply going into the shower mixer.
Please have a look to see if your pipes are all well insulated.
Get in there with a vacuum and clean up the condenser coils then check the compressor relay. If all those are fine bypass the cold control just long enough to see if the water cooler works. Do not leave it bypassed or damage to the reservoir could occur.
Having same issue. Water cooler about a week old, in use in a small office with about 10 people and 2 5-gal water jugs consumed weekly.
The chiller for the cold water no longer works, and they display lights on the front and on/off switch in the back no longer light up. The hot water is working, I'm wondering if there is a potential recall issue with the unit.
if the cooler is a hot and cold, even if its a cook and cold, the cooler always needs to be cleaned and maintained, not only on the inside but on the outside, as the cooler is used calcium builds up over time. that is why your taps are leaking, there is a build up in the taps, therefor the taps are not sealing properly and letting some water thru. i say take the taps out and clean them with vinegar.
the second thing u can do is the taps do come apart into smaller peices once u disconnect them from the cooler. take the taps apart and find the spring located within it, stretch the spring and than reconnect the peices together than reconnect to the water cooler.
no cold water..
water cooler
Water will not dispense from the cold water tap o
