Strong smells from the machine when its used after

Strong smells from the machine when its used - after being unused for a while - can be just a few hours after being cleaned and flushed. I've tried the Saniflo cleaner/ descaler twice now. It's a fairly new machine - about one year old, cleaned very regularly. Smells began about 6 weeks ago. Seems to be worse when shower has been in used. Machine controls one toilet shower + wash basin. Smell definitely coming from the machine not the drains. Any ideas? Thanks.

After downloading 'how to service a saniflow, with diagrams etc and commentary it would appear a seal, or non return flap is the culprit for the smells.

Change batteries . light show up on control and go out when toogle switch moved chair will not move or make a sound

Hi. Sounds like a loose battery terminal or a faulty in-line battery connector, or a loose terminal on the controller.
Could also be caused by a faulty set of batteries that can't supply enough current ( amps ) to drive the machine.
Could be a siezed brake solenoid stopping the motor from turning. A burnt out motor will also cause this problem. A burnt out motor will have a strong smell of burnt varnish.
What is the history of this machine, has it been sitting unused for a while> Have you had any other problems?
Good luck. Neil.

Foul odor when I start a load of laundry

Obviously this problem exists on this manufactured machine (Cabrio). It has to do with the design of the machine and the HE detergent required to be used. We are on city water and the smell is sewage gas. Hence, do your whites last with lots of Clorox/bleach, cause the detergent isn't strong enoug to kill the bacteria growing in the pipes. That being said, P
