If you are using a PC to upload files onto your phone, here is the folder structure:

- "DCOM" folder, contains the photos that are taken by the camera of the phone.
- "MSSEMC" folder has a "Media Files" subfolder. You can organize your multimedia files here.
Access:
"audio" folder = Menu > File Manager > Sounds
"image" folder = Menu > File Manager > Pictures
"video" folder = Menu > File Manager > Videos
"theme" folder = Menu > File Manager > Themes
"other" folder = Menu > File Manager > Other
"webpage" folder = Menu > File Manager > Web pages
- Otherwise, if you create any folder in the Root directory of your memory card and put the files in it, the phone should recognise the types of files and you should be able to reach the files from:
Menu > File Manager > "Choose Media Type"

Hope this helps,

My phone is saying I have no room to download music, but I do,what can I do?

Try deleting unused applications, old pictures, or try uploading all your pictures, videos to google drive and free some space in your device. You can even download google drive application on your phone to view those uploaded files any time from your device

How do download music from my memory stick to my computer

I think the function is actually "upload" but that's just perception. When I plug a memory stick in, it opens up a dialog box that lets mey "sync" the music files, or just open up the device to look at files.
Since I know that most music has extensions of .mp3 .wma .wav etc, I can find and copy them to the hard drive on my computer with the usual copy commands.

It's pretty easy after you do it a couple of times.

Do I create folders on my mermory stick to download my music, pictures adn ringtones?

Actually you dont have to, the Phone creates these folders automatically, all you have to do is copy your music to them. But strangely enough your music and Pictures dont have to go in the music and pictures folder, you can place them where ever you wish. Just in case you need to create folders manually you can use the procedure outlined below. However there isnt any need too, the phone should create these folders automatically once your format your memory card (view your phones manual for details on doing this). But remember you can put the files anywhere the folders are just there for sorting sake..

connect the memory card to your computer via a port or some device,,(like cellular phone or camera)

1.) when windows read the card, click cancel to close off the window
2.) click start / my computer
3.) double click on your memory card (it shows up as a removable device)
4.) right click on any empty spot and (left click new and left click folder)
5.) type the name for your folder

click the - sign to minimize the window

1.) browser to the folder where you have your music or pictures in
2.) select the files you want to put on memory card (hold ctrl and click multiple files)
3.) hold ctrl and press c (Ctrl + C) to copy the files
4.) click on your memory card window to the button of the screen to open it up
5.) right click in any empty space then click paste.

your files will now be copied to the folder you created on your memory card. Repeat as needed to create more folders and copy more files.

How do I upload music from my micro sd card to my cell phone. I already have the music loaded on the card. I have an LG 9900 phone from Verizon. I was able to download pictures but I can't upload music.

First off make sure you have a copy of any pics, vids & music you want to keep... then make sure you format the memory card in the phone. Settings, Memory, Card Memory, options, format. If you are not using a Music Essential Kit, then you plug the card into a memory reader attached to your computer. If you open the drive through "My Computer" you should see file folders for my pics, my videos, my music, etc. Make sure you place the music files in the music folder. (Music has to be DRM-free .mp3's, .wma's, etc. NO iTUNES unless converted) Put the card back in the phone and go to Get it Now, My Tunes...

Uploading song problems

Maybe that was the last file to transfer before the drive was full up, so the file could not be fully transferred?

A 4GB stick will, in reality provide you with a little under 4GB.
