Am using airtel,past 2 weeks i cant send messages,when i try to send message it shows message sending failed and message setting always shows sim card busywhat to do? plz help me to solve this problemwhen i called to my customer care,they said that my profile is very clear,no other go and i had to change for a duplicate sim of mine!and my mobile is nokia 1200,and before this problem occurs my mobile gets switched off whenever the incoming message and out going message goes at the same time!with out changing my sim can i solve this problem?

Please try by restoring your factory. Menu>Setting>Restore factory setting. or press this code *#7780# and if you want to format it than try this code *#7370#
else please check your message center number from your friend or family that they are using the same service(s) like vodafone, aircel, bsnl, airtel. from there check their message centre number whether it's the same number or not that's in your cell-phone. If it's not same than correct it and try.

May be your message centre no. setting is wrong or corrupt.
So please compare to your friend or family that are using the same SIM card like Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel etc.
From there check the message centre no.
then correct it. Then try sending your message.

If you happen to have another sim card with you, can we try to use that sim card and see if the phone will send.
Or your sim card on another phone.

-This is to identify for sure is the issue with the phone or sim..

-If you cant send using another phone then get you sim changed or check with your operator.

-If you are able to send on another phone then you may wanna try resetting your phone by following these steps:

- A restore by keying in *#7780# when on standby - This will not delete any data but will restore all the settings back to default.

If that does not help then you may wanna try doing a soft reset by keying in *#7370# when on standby - This will reformat the phone. DO NOT FORGET TO DO A BACK UP AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR ENTIRE PHONE MEMORY.

The security code by default is 12345

If this fails as well then you may try doing the Hard reset by performing the 3 finger reset. You can do this by switching the phone on with the '3', '*' and green 'call' buttons pressed at the same time.

i have the same problem. i have been using this cell for about one year and suddenly this probelm has occured. if i put my sim in another cell phone, i can send messages with the same sim. otherwise, in this set, my messages are send to outbox and in resend state. i can recieve calls/messages but cannot send sms thrugh my samsung. please help! i have checked my message settings. they are all okay.

Dial *567# and press Call key, a menu will appear and then select your choice, you will get 2 messages from airtel with request confirmation, you will get settings message from airtel, open the message and save the settings.

Yes, you have to empty the sent items.. whenever the messaging sent items memory is full we will not be able to send any messages.. this is a dumb concept however it worked for me.. try it and do tell me whether it worked or not...
