There are several things that enter in to the start problem. if you have spark then you need fuel. If you have both. Then there maybe a compression problem. You must squeeze that fuel that is atomized .
Please ask the question again and be specific on whether this is 2cycle or 4

Test ignition coil honda gx25

Okay. You have eliminated the plug. Now disconnect the coil kill wire and try for spark again. Also check grounding between the coil laminates and the cylinder with you ohm meter should read zero.

If grounding okay and with the kill wire disconnected you still get no sparks then replace the coil pack as it probably a failed internal trigger which can not tested for.

Why won't my Stihl FC 55 edger run?

First remove the module and clean the mounting areas to be sure the module has a good ground. Leave the ground wire off the module and run the unit. If it runs fine then you will have to kill the motor by pulling the spark plug or choking it down. If it runs fine reattach the ground wire and run again. If ran good without wire but not with then the switch is bad. If wont run good either way then likely a module.

It will turn over but wont crank

Not starting issues are usually spark or fuel problems. If you have gas getting to the carb then check your spark. First check all the wire connectors and plug wire to make sure everything is connected. If you find a loose connection fix it then try it. If not, then remove the spark plug but leave it attached to the plug wire set it on the cylinder head and turn the engine over. You should see a bright spark. If you have a really weak spark or none at all, then it may be your ignition coil or a related ignition part.

Weak spark wont start

Sounds like stator pick up or stator its self is rusty causing a weak spark, (Just sand off) , or the coil is bad or spark plug wire is corroded

Kmx 125 has a weak spark and wont start

Have the coil checked at a local repair shop. Also check that the coil wires are not damaged, cracked or kinked.

I have Homelite trimmer/edger for 3 years. It has been working great until recently, after a cold start and edging for 7 - 8 minutes it stops all of sudden until it gets cold and runs for 6 -7...

You need to check the ignition coil, by running until it quits and then remove the spark plug, reattach the plug wire and then ground the plug threads to the block and then try to start it. If you get no spark or very weak spark, the coil is bad and needs to be replaced.

I hope this helps get you going again.
