Think it's something to do with censor, wire on top of motor is cut on top of sparkplug that is right on top of motor. A rat cut it , my car has a little miss in it, and the check engine light and the little car with doors open light is on.
The little red and green wire on the first little plug that plugs onto the sparkplug has been cut by a rat. I know one of the ends goes on a sparkplug . My Question is where does the other end go and how to get to it to fix it. ThanksThe little red and green wire on the first little plug that plugs onto the sparkplug has been cut by a rat. there is nothing wrong with splicing new wires as long as it is done well and weather tight. I think if you call a dealer for a price on the harness you will find that repairing the wiring will probable save you several hundred dollars. really not worth replacing something that can be repaired.
Good day. A couple of things can cause your problem. First thing you can try is to connect a 12v supply to your fuelpump to see if its running. both positive and negative. There will be a positive supply present on the pump with ignition on. Its the negative wire thats being switched by a relay that is triggered by an electronic pulse censor. This censor works of a toothed gear on the front pulley. This censor also triggers the injectors as well as your spark. So if you have spark on the sparkplugs it means the censor is ok and that means your fuel relay is faulty. Most of the times its the fuel relay.
Open the hood to access the engine compartment. Locate the sparkplugs sitting to the side of the motor. Six wires run to the motor, three on each side.
Twist the rubber boot and pull away from the sparkplugs. This will expose the sparkplug.
Unbolt the sparkplug with a socket wrench. Use a 5/8-inch deep-well socket attached to the socket wrench.
Pull the sparkplug away from the motor. Discard the sparkplug.
Screw the sparkplug into the motor by hand. Make sure it is hand-tight.
Tighten the sparkplug with the socket wrench, using the deep-well sparkplug socket.
Click the wire to the sparkplug wire to the end of the sparkplug. Gently pull the wire to ensure it clicks into place.
Repeat the procedure for the remaining five sparkplugs. Change each sparkplug one at a time.
codepo154 is o2 sensor on intake manifold passenger side codes ,po304 is either bad sparkplug, wire or coil maybe injector hard to tell start cheap,i beleive its a sensor on tranny itself good luck
you should scan the vehicle and if you have no code then go into data and see with sensor is defaulting if you get hesitation when driven then the check engine light should be on and if not check fuel pressure
I had the same problem and it turned out to be the wiring harness in the steering column. Found this out after replaceing the computer brain ($700) and various other parts. It seems it had a short and when you turn the steering wheel just right it connects and shuts the car off.
i think you might have a mouse living in your engine compartment
but i would look at a mouse dead inside your muffler since this is the warmest place the cuts off the cars way of breathing
when you come to a stop the dead mouse moves inside muffler and creates a blockage just enough to almost smother vehicle rats find muffler pipes warm area to live in
i would also change the oxygen sensor out too
since you mentioned rats i would gothrew whole vehicle in detail and look for chewed frayed wires windshield wiper motors things of this nature they may have chewed threw a relay and you wouldnt know once you have rats they can do lots of damage to a vehicle
also if vehicle sat for long time i would check the tank for debry and change the sending units filter out for better performance along with vehicles fuel filters
fuel injector relay can also be bad giving you the chug
bad coil
build of gunk in the throttle body houseing
air filter clog or not enough air
these are things i can think off the top of my head since im not there in person to see vehicle
i hope this had helped you in some remedy
