PS3 I have been playing games without a problem, however last night I tried to watch a blue ray disc (I hadnt watched one for about a year) and it came back with a msg that I would need the encryption code software..I dont have internet service, I only use it for games etc.....Im confused, pls help

This is a software compatibility issue, it's easily fixed by connecting the PS3 to the internet, logging into your PSN account and running a system update. It will update the software and get you a new encryption key. It's part of the movie's copy protection.
