I'm not sure of this system but if this was mine I would say it sounds like your playing this in a 2-Channel mode which eliminate the center channel.
you music may be set up fine, but the mode you play a dvd in may be set up for 2-channel mode. try a dolby prologic 5-channel or some other mode if you have one.

Nexxtech DR30G0 - No audio - audio only works with DVD's

Hello,
You might need to update the drivers in your computer. Scan it with RadarSync so that it will detect the drivers which are outdated. You can use the same software to update them all.

The background music of the dvd movie is playing but there is no sound of the people in the movie speaking. Is the set up setting wrong?

Hello

Yes, fortunately this is only a minor setting which needs to be set right. Although i have never worked on this unit before, all you need to do is to have a look on the remote itself.

The problem is that the player is set to play through the wrong channels. Hence, you can hear the background music and sound, but not the voices. This is because the voice is sent to a channel which does not exist.

On the remote there is usually a button saying channel or sound channel...Something in this line. This will enable you to cycle through the sound channels(2.0 ; 5.1 ; 7.1 etc)

If you cannot find this button on the remote, you will need to have a look around in the sound setting menu.

Hope this can be of help.

Kind regards
Andrea

Rx-v563 backround music much louder than people when watching tv

I would check your center speaker wiring and setting. Then switch to a different audio setting (pro logic, theater...)

Phantom backround sounds

Need more info. Does it happen while using other sources? (DVD, games, VCR..) if so, pause the source and see if the sound is still audible. if it's only on the TV source then MUCH more info will be needed.

When I plug in my Ipod to the Aux.....

I am having a smilar problem, I think the aux jack itself is messed up. I lose the sound out of the left channel, then I jiggle the connection a bit and get the sound back... Often when you can hear instruments and no voice you are hearing only a left or right track. Are you sure both the left and right is working?
