U need to reinstall the software
when I try to find a location it says A route cannot be calculated to
your destination. Please check your routing preference and try again.
Most of the time it show this message when I am in the Town.
I tyred many different option but it didn't work

Total waste of time connecting to a pc. You need an in-car charger that supplies enough power for the unit, as simple as. I bought a cheap one off ebay, waste of money, it didn't work. Bite the bullet, get your money out and buy an official charger direct from Navman, that's the only real solution.
With mine the same problem occurred when connecting to the in car charger. I found that if you turn on using it's battery power, wait for your location to be found, access the main menu screen and select "map". Then I found the unit worked fine
This happened to me.... but I figured out how to fix it.
Find a USB cable that you may use for your camera etc (i.e. small to large USB) plug small end into Navman and the large end into your computer. Your computer will see the navman as an external hard drive.... have a look at some of the folders then disconnect the Navman via "safely remove drives" icon in the bottom corner of pc.
Pop the USB cables out, you will see the navman switch off. Then start up your navman and it should work normally.
Dont know why the navman is getting confused seeing the car charger as a pc..... but this seemed to work for me. Hope this helps - Mark

Press the "Main Menu" button on the Navman to bring up a list of options. Tap "Preferences," choose "Localize" and "Language." Each option is selected by touching the screen. The different language options show up on the screen in list format. Touch the language you want to use and press the check mark icon. The Navman will now operate in the chosen language.

I have exactly the same problem. My Nav F10 screen goes blank, A computer appears on the screen with arrows linked toward what looks like the navman. What do you do? Occured when I was trying to find my way home!!
navman f10, whenever i connect my navman to the in car charger the screen goes to a computer screen connected to a navman screen via a cable, my only solution is to disconnect from 12v source and start again running on units battery supply.
My navman went blank whilst driving it now only shows what looks like a laptop conecteted to a navman
