My tmobile vairy touch will not turn on. ive tried charging it but not even a screen saying it is charging comes on - it just stays completely blank. ive tried a different sim card but no difference.

    i dont have a new battery, but i took my old one out for 30 seconds and it didnt make a difference. do u reckon i need a new battery? ive only had this one for 1 month!

Check the battery,put a new one in if you have one,if no,take out old battery for 30 seconds and put back in

    well,if i was you id go to t-mobile,have them grab another battery,and put it in in front of you,dont let them take the phone,also if you have a car charger,try that sometimes the wall chargers are faulty,rule out the chargers as the problem.

Same problem.. dropped the phone the other day and since then the screen kept freezing... tonight the phone swtiched off and will not switch on again. phone only 6 weeks old... tried removing battery for over 30 secs..nothing. blank screen.. doesnt even say it is charging

To reset iPod touch, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo show up on the screen:

Yes!!! Please charge the unit overnight. You didn't say what model you have. If it's a 2xx series, plug in the charger and move the on/off switch momentarily to the left until you see the screen say charging. Set the unit down and the screen will go off. If you touch the screen again, it will come on. After charging is done, when you touch the screen it will say charging is complete. Remove the charger. If its' a 3xx or 6xx product, hold down the on/off power button until you get the charge screen.
