So folks to solve this problem I used the last resort....don't laugh, but I actually started to hit the machine very hard on the top and from the side and all of sudden it started to work. When in doubt hit it!

Bunn coffee maker heats but wont pump water?

I thought these are pour over brewers? Which means you have to fill it with water in order to brew? It should happen when the unit is filled first, plugged in then turned on.(see link below for MFR instructions) Aloha! ukeboy57

Keurig coffee maker note making coffee. How do

if you are not getting any coffee made at all then descaling wont help you. i remove the water container and you will see a little hole with a screen inside of it. i either take tweezers and fish around for any particles that are in there. i was absolutly shocked to find little fuzz pieces. this dust will block up the machine so it wont work. i have also {at work} unplugged unit and take off water resevoir and put sink water into hole for a bit, being carefull not to complety soak whole unit . then i dry it well and plug it back in. works like a charm for me. i have 2 keurigs and 1 that i manage at work. as far as descaling , once its back running you could put a half cup of vinegar and fill the rest with water and keep making fake cups of coffee till empty . then i refill with clean water and run a couple more times. this is really good for keeping the needle free from getting plugged. as soon as i have any problem with my machine not making full cups of coffee i will clean that bottom screen under water resevoir, and it always works for me. good luck.

I think my bunn-o-matic VPR needs cleaning and I do not have a manual for this machine. Can you advise on how to do this?

To clean the vpr you will need to take the lid off the machine. Be sure to unplug while doing this. First clean the water tray. You can unscrew the nut holding this tray and clean the tray in your sink. Put the tray back in and put the lid back on. Plug coffee maker in. Fill one coffee pot with vinegar and pour it in machine. After the water finishes coming out let the coffee maker sit overnight. Before you start filling the maker with water at least 6 times, be sure to clean the spray head. Make sure the 5 or 6 holes are free and clear of any build up. Then start with fresh water. Fill the coffee pot with fresh clean water and pour into machine. Let it finish and do this at least 6 times. If you can still taste or smell the vinegar repeat until you cant.

SAYS COFFE READY PUSH LARGE CUP AND A COUPLE OF DROPS COME OUT THAN SAYS FILL AND PUSH STEAM HAVE DONE AND REDONE SEVERAL TIMES STILL NOT GETTING A CUP OF COFFEE TOOK TANK OUT AND CHECKED FOR FLOTATION IT...

Hello.

1 Perform the initial setup on the coffee maker. Make sure the coffee maker is not plugged in. Slide the empty funnel into the funnel guides, fill the decanter with cold water, open the lid and pour water from the decanter into the brewer, put the decanter back on the base, then close the lid and wait three minutes for the internal tank to partially fill. Open the lid, fill the decanter with cold water again, and once more pour the water directly into the brewer. Put the decanter back on the base and wait for water to flow out of the funnel and into the decanter. Once it has stopped flowing, pour out any water that is in the decanted and plug in the coffee maker. Press the on switch to turn the coffee maker on and heat up the water in the tank.

2 Ensure the lid is completely closed. If the lid is open, the Bunn coffee maker will not brew coffee.

3 Check the see how much water is in the water tank. The Bunn coffee maker will not begin brewing coffee if less than 20 ounces (4 cups) of water is present in the water reservoir tank.
4 Delime the coffee maker. Unplug the coffee brewer and allow it to cool down. Remove the sprayhead by turning it by hand and set it aside. Insert the flexible deliming tool into the sprayhead tube until all but two inches are showing. You may need to twist and force the tool to go in. Slide the tool in and out several times to loosen lime buildup.
Check the sprayhead for lime buildup. If there are flakes of minerals, they can be removed with a toothpick. Scrub the sprayhead with soap and water. Rinse the sprayhead with water and replace it in the coffee maker. Pour water into the water tank and turn the coffee maker on, allowing water to run through without making any coffee. This will flush any lime fragments through the system. Empty the decanter

Thanks.

Had about a week. if i fill with 50 ounces of

Try taking the filter out, and turn the sprayhead off the unit. Put the basket back on, and try pouring clear water through the unit. If the water runs through fine, you either have a plugged sprayhead or are using too finely ground coffee. Look at the holes in the sprayhead, and make sure that none of the holes are plugged. If the basket still overflows, try using a drill bit to make the hole in the funnel a little larger. Good luck.

Just bought a Bunn coffee maker at a garage sale great condition how do you make the coffee I have poured water in turned the side switch on and the warmer switch yet nothing?????

The machine requires an initial set up to be completed before using it. Fill the decanter with cold water and close the lid. It will take 3 minutes to partially fill the water tank in the back. Then fill the decanter again with cold water and pour in and close the lid. Then plug in the machine and turn the vacation switch on the side of the machine on. After 15 minutes, you will be ready to brew coffee. Then you will get your filter basket ready with the filter and grounds. Pour in from 4-10 cups of water and place the decanter on the base. Close the lid and the coffee will begin to brew. If you will call customer service with the model and date code, a use and care manual can be sent out to you at no cost.

Keurig Special Edition B60

Hello,

I assume your coffe maker used to produce more coffee for each use. Roughly 6 ounces per large cup, and now is only making 3 oz. cups.

If your coffee maker is sputtering and not able to "suck" enough water to fill your cups of coffee it is most likely due to cavitation caused in the little pump due to a stoppage, which is most likely lime or scale buildup somewhere in the pump line.

To fix it, don't take your coffee maker apart. Get a bottle of distilled white vinegar, and pour it straight into the empty water resevoir. Press brew with no coffee pod so you are just running the vinegar through the system. Pour the vinegar out of the cup and back into the resevoir. Add some ice to cool it off. Repeat about 10 times. This should clear out the toughest lime scale clog.

After you notice the cups are filling full of water, Replace the vinegar with fresh water. Run about 5 or 6 cups of fresh water through the system to get rid of the vinegar.

Make coffee/tea/whatever.
